Why is FFK banking on Governors rather than the citizens of Nigeria. He makes it look like the ordinary citizens doesn't matter in this election. So citizens of a state can't have an opinion different from their Governor? Then, where is the democracy? No wonder asiwaju will never attend town hall meeting to debate others so that the citizens can see how he fares.

I think there are two edges to this change of Naira notes. In as much as the the ruling party is shouting "foul," it could be a camouflage. Certainly, it was planned since. It is possible that they changed the currency so that all other candidates from other parties would be handicapped in vote-buying and stomach-infrastructure. They ONLY, would have access to the new currencies directly. This is evident that the currencies are available to those in power and connected. If not, how do you explain the fact that these same currencies are being spent at 'owambe' parties, in reckless abandon. The other edge is to certainly put all the politicians in the same tight corner which is good. We will see how this pans out. Just so sad that in all, no consideration was given to the masses.
