I snagged a copy of the vinyl a while back, which tells you about the basis of each song. Basically, this song is a tribute to Bach, and the lyrics had meaning - what is an artist willing to sacrifice for money? It can often lead a musician to feel trapped, as referenced in the last line. It’s not word for word, but it’s essentially what Apashe wrote within the vinyl for Renaissance.

This is gonna sound stupid but give it a shot. At 0:07, right as the oboes, or whatever that wind instrument is, starts up. If you start Apashe's Lacrimosa song at that exact moment, the songs sort of sink up together and create this extreme remix that goes of the charts. I opened a second tab and the song started by incident.

if you go on apashes channel you can see that all the songs are actually recordings of live orchestra. Nothing was synthesised

As someone who has recently found a hidden passion and love for 16th-20th century literature in the midst of going to school for a completely different degree, this song hit differently. Almost as an ode to the trials and tribulations I went through to figure out what my true passion is. You have somehow put those feelings into a song and for that I Thank You Apashe.
