I think the message is not only does social media disconnect us from reality it also has an aspect of putting the 'victim' on a pedestal. The girl in this video stabbed the guy first. But because she was taking selfies of her own stab wound she got worshiped like a God. The news is slanted in that regard, only half of the story is told. On top of social media being an issue.

@@DClanisa I would say it signifies shifts of power: religion in traditional sense from church setting, then oligarchy from vaguely businessy looking people ("old money" maybe), then the new power rolled into town - technocracy, bringing with it the new age of informational freedom. It's prophet wanted to show the worshippers the "truth", but people being people twisted the true meaning, killed the prophet and now we are all heading into the brave new world, where only 'likes' and social media image matter. That's my interpretation.

@@MrsNunswife imo it feels like a look at how ppl like to claim that the current systems in the world (portrayed via the church) are bad, and need to be overthrown. while ppl like to keep parroting around about corruption not one really thinks about how they will revolutionize and fix the problems caused by the old system. instead, the destruction of the old ruler created a power vaccuum in which anyone can take over. during this time, the original leader of the revolution (who seems to be a representation of some movement via social media) gets replaced by someone who is a victim upon a pedestal. her injury and posting of it allows ppl to forget or not investigate the fact that she is in fact a murderer as well. her use of social media allows ppl to be blind and only follow fame and beauty, no matter how perverse or how immoral it may be. that might be alluding to how ppl accept degeneracy in any aspect of life now, when compared to prior generations. This type of thing is made every few years to every few decades tho- ppl get sick of some system in place and will always make it sound deep. but in the end its cyclical restructuring. something new and shiny will always be around the corner and ppl will embrace it in the name of progress. hence, the fake news at the end. everything that society believes is right or wrong is largely based on myth.

i've listened to this song shit load of times, apashe has been my favorite since blackgold - he is one of the best artists to create a grand ambience to start things off and has the capability to back it up with complex phases in his music while keeping it beautiful and elegant, then ending them in the perfect ways that leave you lingering in his music. i always felt that this piece had a more majestic way of visuals, something starting off with scenes something like this in order: @0:22 attractive black-mouthed mysterious woman sings with a minor grin, @0:35 the shadow faceless pianist in somewhere in rome probably, @0:45 apashe is at inida's Akshardham temple, @0:55 he enters the indian temple alone, @1:05 temple greets apashe with nun-like spirits into the temple, @1:15 gentley brings him into a slow journey into deeper halls for rich supper meal and fruits in gold tableware, @1:58 the welcoming nun-like spirits sings in choir and fades back into the shadows, @2:10 faceless shadow pianist viciously spends his last energy onto the last of his performance @2:25 woman shows up infront of apashe, @2:40 nun-like spirits choir in the dark corners as the last ceremony, @3:00 the mysterious woman feeds apashe with thousand years worth of knowledge, @3:20 apashe ascends, @3:35 the mysterious woman and nun-like spirits vanishes in smoke, @3:50 in the end apashe walks out to the gates with his newly gifts from the temple, @4:00 apashe grins along with the lyrics the nun-like spirits are the instruments of apashe the mysterious woman is the masterpiece of apashe and the faceless shadow pianist is apashe that learned to compose and spent years to become the apashe that left the temple to become what he is today

My favourite apashe song hands down

I think the video is very metaphorical. 1) We see a temple filled with white collars. They are the main ones here, they have already ousted the clergy. Work and the pursuit of success has become a religion. 2) An adherent of a new digital religion appears. He only collects information, does not bother anyone. But already a whole army of his fans is gathering. 3) Capture of the temple. We see that the main character is not good, he is here for the sake of power. He makes the old leader accept his rules of the game, connect to the system where he is in charge. 4) The new generation rejoices, they dance, and the old one looks at them with surprise. Nobody is going to work, they have completely different priorities. 5) Betrayal. She stabs him in the heart - he is surprised. He instinctively stabs her in the stomach - she smiles. That's what she wanted. She presents everything in a favorable light for her. She is a victim. He is dead and cannot object. And even if he could, no one would believe. Now she becomes a leader. Fakes rule the world. 6) we see that she did not pull out the knife. She needs everyone to see him. But you can see that she is now riding a horse - a step back in terms of technology. And she leads her followers from the temple to the stadium. If earlier people were looking for knowledge and enlightenment, now the main thing is entertainment.

What i see is that the pope is in it and attacks the religion with those blinded people. He is a trojan horse. They force their will upon the believers. Then girl is the beast from revelation 13 that survived the fatal wound. She leads those blinded people the the new world. Yes i have alot of imagination :)
