Hey dear! Nice vlog. Is the housing allowance sufficient to pay these apartments? Can you give us a rough idea about the rent of the apartments? And are there rules or regulations?

Yes it is coz u earn quite well basic salary + layover allowance + turnaround allowance +extra hours allowance And housing allowance is extra Soo if u look a flat with a roommate it would be nice

Hiii. I completed my medicals in the month of May. So, can you please let me know how long Cathay typically takes to send the date of joining after medical clearance? Cuz I didn't get any update/mail after finishing my medicals.

If so, are they giving us enough time to put on our weight ? Can you please shed some light on this since I'm a bit worried about my BMI😢

Do you have to find hotels by yourself for your layovers as well

No the company provides with hotel as well as the layover allowance 😇

May I ask which apartment is easy to travel to cx City. Which one u choose? I'm looking for it too.

I took the apartment in tun muen yes u have a direct bus to airport U can look at tung chung , tuenmuen , butterfly bridge

Hi could you tell us like the approximate salary. Like for example if u had 100 hours, approx salary, just to get an idea. Like a range. Is it around 20,000 HKD?

Yes if u make 100 hours can can earn pretty well on top of that u get layover allowance + turnaround +no sick leave +housing +basic

U will get basic salary + layover allowance +turnaround allowance + housing allowance +extra hours above allowance if it’s more than 70 hours

Basic 9kish Layover allowance depends on where you go and how long you stay. They send you to all the nice places on the first year like nyc or madrid and youll get around 7k to 15k. Based on how many nights and whats the most expensive item on the hotel menu for breakfast lunch and dinner + laundry Turnaround is pocket change Housing allowance is 7k or 10k was it? Its not available for locals. Extra hours i have no idea. But unless you get 4 long hauls a month or working your ass off on short haul everyday, you wont get to 70. Rent in hk depending where you live, 15k in tungchung for 2 rooms. Can find 10k for a bachelors if you haggle in tuen mun or tsing yi. Most will live with other crew cause the pay is so shit and cost of living is so high. Expect more if its furnished and covenient.

It really depends on the area … area close to airport are quite expensive and lil inside like tun meun area is lil cheap But if u are sharing a flat it won’t be a problem
