Hate APA's stupid rule that punishes you for making a ball on break and makes the table no longer open... first game I was like why is he shooting solids!? Then I remembered....

It's the worst rule in apa. I guess the thinking is a higher ranked player will be stuck with the least favored balls if he makes a ball on the break rather than be able to choose the better layout. Reality is the lower ranked players are more often stuck with no shot when they make a ball on the break.

Same thing happens in 9-ball.. There should be no random shots in pocket billiards.. Can’t even push out in APA.. Been saying it for years, the pros need to be playing straight pool, not rotation games with a random break shot..

Everytime I watch these apa matches online I have sooo many questions.

I will never play apa, it's for people that want to knock balls around not for serious pool players. Just my opinion

I've played apa for over 15 years. I'm skeptical of both being 7's, If I hadn't seen their skill levels I would have thought I was watching a 5 vs 6
