Yeah, that's why Pekin is my favorite league streamer. Instead of being some insane micro god he just have that calm and steady approach, like solving a puzzle of figuring out strength and weakness of himself, his opponent and the team comp, and then just playing accordingly.

That Veigar talking while being actively bad is why they're permastuck Plat.

People definitely underestimate how much you do to ensure you have a "good team". Often times literally just not feeding like crazy or tilting in chat is enough to give you a "good team". Little things like helping with a play or responding to a call definitely helps team morale as well and makes them play better. Creating as much pressure as you do makes everyone else's lane easier. Makes objectives easier. They like to say "well you just got good teammates", and sometimes that's true, but I think players have way more influence over "how good" their team is than they realize.

I was 58% win rate in plat3 the first 40 matches were nice and balanced. you lose some you win some, but the games were fun. Then suddenly I start getting matched with inters and afkers in 9/10 of my games and after 94 matches I dropped to gold4 with 42% win rate overall. I honestly feel like just making a new account and spamming tristana mid or something. I never flame my teammates.

@@dinodudedanny6324 here is the thing, if you have a big win streak you will keep climbing easily. If you lose a few games and your lp gains/loss equalize, that account is stuck, and it will be hard and slow to climb even with positive win rate. You'll have to have an insane win streak to start climbing again. So yes, if you're really hard stuck it's easier to make a new acct, but most likely you just think you're better than you actually are but you're right where you deserve to be.

@@ELYESSS I mean I don't claim to be great, like I said I was plat3 with 58% win rate in 40 games, but I also am not good enough to carry games where my teammates are 0/8 in 15 minutes and/or someone on my team is afk which for some reason happend in almost every match after the first 40 games. I think I should just abuse meta champs instead of playing the champs I enjoy since champs like ziggs, swain and lissandra just aren't made to carry inters and afkers. So you're partially true, on one hand I am not the greatest player and on the other hand I probably am not helping myself by playing the non meta champs. Definitely don't think going from 58% win rate in 40 games plat to 22%? win rate in the next 54 games after that for a total of 42% win rate in 94 games is because I deserve to be silver or something. I guess playing meta champs could have helped me win some of those games, but I still think the issue in the first place is getting matched with inters and afkers 9/10 games for no reason is the main problem. Unlucky matchmaking issue, hopefully will have better luck on the next account.

That's only true to a degree. If you get a perma inting botlane or a mental boomer, you can't do much there EXCEPT carrying, not any of that "ensuring you have a good team". People forget that at the end of the day, he's a multi-season challenger player playing in Plat.

As someone else said, I don't mind you posting games where you didn't carry (or even got carried), cause I feel this series really helps people see your incredible macro in winning games despite never playing these champs. It does help that it's in lower elos as well, because in your high elo games, generally, everyone at least knows how to push their own leads and how to not bleed their losses. I feel so many get stuck in lower elos cause they don't know what to do, when everyone else around them just falls apart. This series has so far shown even when you're literally 4v5 there're still win cons. And even outside of something so crazy, just in general, as you've reiterated, how to enable your team to win even if you're not the ''main character''. I quit League a long time ago though, I'm just here for Pekin but I imagine this is great for anyone actually playing the game lol. PS: It's also great seeing your growth as a top laner. Helping your jungler with objectives and being able to front line really effectively to make losing team fights a net win even if you die and just generally how your macro play as a toplaner is really different than when you midlane. It's honestly been great stuff. Can't wait to see how it goes when you've made your way into the higher elos. I imagine your champ proficiency will have increased significantly by then as well. I'm super hyped on this series tbh.

I also thought the Rylai's wasn't good on this build when i saw Dobby's video, but on this game i defenitely see the big utility. The one issue Sej often gets when she cant capitalizde on her E is ppl running away, but the spam on W and Q coming off CD often made him catch up in many scenarios. I undervalued the slow on W being extended for so much longer, makes the 2nd part easier to land too. Cool stuff

Tank Sejuani already does pretty nutty damage due to the HP scaling and how shatter works, but I embrace the AP Sejuani as well. It's always worth trying to get your normal freeze off before ulting because you can get two shatters that way, but of course this is context sensitive.

So it's possible that I am worst Sejuani EUW but I thought you need to hit frozen enemies to get the full damage from passive? And you often E and then don't hit them before you R and then you hit them after that and I felt pretty confident that you don't get full damage when doing it like that. But I haven't played Sejuani in a couple of months and obviously you're the one who's challenger so now I'm wondering if I've misunderstood it.

Riot gives accounts to content creators, lvl 30 with every champion unlocked. Pekin got one of those accounts so he could skip leveling to unlock ranked (watching him fight bots and totally stomp new players in normal games wouldn't be that fun) and so he doesn't have to buy every champion again.

1 Thing about Sej if you want to play it. You are weak lv 1-3 give up cs if needed. Lv 6 is a good spike but really lv 9 you are your strongest when your W is max lvl. At 9 you beat any champ pretty much

It's funny to watch you realise how new accounts are easier to climb on than old accounts. As a multi season challenger that plays always on the same account you are probably better than you realise!

I can't believe this is plat/emerald. That level of macro in the first game was abhorrent. Those are the games that I loathe. There's just fights over literally nothing(not drag, not scuttle, not a tower, nothing, just walking somewhere to try and cheese a kill), waves not being collected/pushed out, there's an entirely empty lane but someone still walks to the one you're in, staggered deaths causing there to never be a team fight, enemies are all missing but someone still pushes on their own, and that's not even getting into people acting as if they're being paid to tilt. I hate aram meta just being brain dead easy poke and tank champs, it's truly awful, but vomit inducing SR games like this are not much better. I wish a mode like Odyssey came back, because the game is fun to actually play and fun to control champs, but pvp team games ain't it anymore if the balance team is out to lunch, and team coordination is still wretched, if not worse, after ping changes. Use a voting system in the scoreboard to mute pings for a specific player if you think they're abusing it. Fixes it easy.

You do a considerate amount of dmg when you break the ice with an auto, sometimes you just roll with the stun like you cant do more than that but you should really take advantage of stun, auto, ult, auto to win all those trades 🫰🏼
