AP Mega DSC with 16347 posts-Chandrababu first signature
In Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu has assumed office as the Chief Minister today at the Secretariat. Following this, he signed his first official document as the CM, which pertains to the release of the Mega DSC (District Selection Committee) notification. This paves the way for the recruitment of 16,347 posts across the state.
The previous notification issued by the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government has been cancelled, and a new notification for 16,347 posts will be issued in its place.
Earlier, the YSRCP government had released a notification for 6,100 posts just before the elections. They conducted the TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) hastily before the DSC exam. Due to the insufficient gap between the TET results and the DSC exam, candidates approached the High Court, leading to a postponement. Subsequently, the election code caused further delays, putting the DSC process on hold.
Now, the coalition government is ready to conduct the Mega DSC with over 10,000 additional posts.
It is reported that the new notification will be released soon, and online applications will be accepted. The details of the posts to be filled through this notification are as follows:
SGT (Secondary Grade Teacher): 6,371 posts
School Assistant: 7,725 posts
TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher): 1,781 posts
PGT (Post Graduate Teacher): 286 posts
PET (Physical Education Teacher): 132 posts
Principal: 52 posts
