because of the new update, the amg suspension is honestly OP, its actually ridiculus if you compare with all the other cars on the saem kerbs

Meanwhile I'm out here struggling to go below 1.30 damn 😅

i think as long as you have the outer wheel not touching the green astroturf on the inside of each kerb it's valid

were you running Max downforce? I always liked the AMG at Zolder. its a great car track combo. Ive been using the BMW for a couple weeks and i lose some time with it bouncing around

hmm .. interesting... somehow i loose almost 2 seconds at the 2nd chicane. The gantry at 0:53 i usually under it at exactly 40.0xx seconds, but then i pass the sausage curbs on the right at 1:03 at 51.2xx. The rest is the same but my best is still 1.27.537. So i guess have to attack 2nd chicane much harder. That's with the Audi btw, not the AMG. Also just no noticed - very unorthodox brake bias for the AMG... 54.6... so far back.. .damn, certainly have to try it. If it helps that giant nose to rotate it might become my 2nd favorite car. Nothing can replace the Audi though with that V10 eargasm :)

With your time and the faster times from the new update (1.9.1), will this change the LFM License times for the current track, Zolder?

License times always change with the current LFM track record - which you can check on their website. The Mercedes actually got slower with the 1.9.1 update but my time was driven on that patch.

Yesterday I was doing a 1.28.7 and I was verry happy about that round 😂 finally in the 1.28 club! Your round is just AMAZING! nice job and keep the pedal to the metal!

I'd like to see this on default setup (e.g. aggressive preset) and see how much a setup can shave off...

I actually tried it on stream in the races after I set the WR. Laptimes were around .7 off. Zolder is a bit special though as you need some good suspension settings for the curbs. On other tracks the difference might only be .5 which is still quite a lot of course.

What's the key tip for someone struggling to make the lfm min requirement here (1min 32)

Practice, cut shicanes, practice, get your brakeing points right, practice, master first corner on 2nd gear instead of 3rd, practice, turn into corners earlier than you think you should, practice, try Ferrari 296 Fr3d0lf safe quali setup from youtube, and practice even more. At the start of this LFM week i didn't know this track and I was not able to finish even one lap without track limits warning. My PB was around 1:34.0. After 2 days i was able to consistently drive 1:30.5 consecutive laps and my PB is 1:29.3.

Have a look into the description, there is a link to the AOR Leaderboard. On ACC it is considered the place for World Records.

i made 1:31:2 with ps4 controller, im extremly far from world record but i cant find more pace in any turn , maybe 1-2 i have 1 tenth but the rest its imposible with controller

update: 1:30:4 with ps5 controller , my max rotation is lower than yours and i cant understand why, my car goes like on rails with tc at 1 and i cant maximise more the entry turns cuz i have no rotation of the car, maybe with setup i can make the car more oversterring or something , but actually i cant do more

I managed to do a 1:28.717 just after pitting in a six hour race here in the M4 a while back, at about 22 degrees with 80L of fuel and a relatively safe setup because I was getting used to new controller sensitivity settings. That seems to be the key. Took a while to get used to it, but turning off steering assist and using a lower gamma setting made me faster overall. If you're not used to being super precise with the stick (I used max sensitivity in shooters for example), a Kontrol Freek or some other extension on the left stick would help. I'm sure a 1:27 is doable in quali or if you know how to make a fast setup that isn't too unstable, unlike me lmao

Unless you're a mad lad 😅 Sorry, I just remembered I did another race at Zolder the other day after buying the 2023 pack last week for the new cars. Just found the screenshot I took in the third stint, about 12 minutes after a pit. 1:28.562 in the Ferrari 296 with 75L of fuel, but it was "only" 18°C as it went from 7 to 10pm. That's faster than I did in quali so I should go back with no fuel and keep trying lol Edit: just went back to try again in a free practice session. Managed to do 1:27.907 at 24/33°C with low fuel but just invalidated by a hair on the first chicane, and the first two corners were bad. This might be doable lol

the amg is now better than ever after this update.... the suspension is literally OP, go try all the other cars on Zolder in that chicane and all of them bounce so much more on the kerbs... i main the amg for a long time im not that good i do 1.28.8 (assuming a normal 27 degree track) but the car got a massive boost since the update, im not surprised people will get records on that kind of track. and i dont care if they nerf my main car, the last thing i do in video games is using the easy strategy to win.

Meanwhile I am doing a 1.40 sadly but that is with zero TC and ABS I know that doesn't count but I am probably the only person in the game besides the esports without ABS and TC and TC2

Why would you drive without TC and especially without ABS? You 100% need ABS. With some cars TC off works but not with all the cars and also not on all the tracks.

This made me feel like Zolder didn’t deserve a World Record
