my work schedule just switched up for me to now be working weekends right before this was announced, unfortunate

first 5 mission, that means we'll deffinitely see Kamos' design.. I hope they beefed him up, that was already weird that he wasn't even 7ft tall when minotaurs were 9ft tall but now minotaurs are 12ft tall.. Like I get that being abandonned to drift in the ocean as a calf can have some consequences on a bull's growth but still.. We also get Khemsyt and Gargarensis in the first 5 missions right? I think there was a cinematic with gargarensis lamenting the fact that Kamos failed to keep the trident very early on..

I think 5 missions land us short, the cutscene is at the end of the last troy mission 5 missions should let us play until the one where you go help ajax after destroying one gate which is the one before the trojan horse mission iirc

@@shiroiyukihyo5364 I see, well Khemsyt is just a guy in a grey cloak, mostly bummed about Gargarensis.. especially considering cyclops are pretty mysterious still.. we got plenty shots of the minotaur's new design but cyclops in the leak looked just like the old cyclops and the minotaurs were basically the same size

@@shiroiyukihyo5364 Ow wait i'm silly! THe editor! we should be able to check all the units and the animations in the editor.. so we should already be able to know how the major deaths will look like on top of just having the designs of the characters..

So excited for this game! Its brought me back to my AoM roots after I retired from it seriously years ago (still do for fun time to time though!). But watching your high level content always kept me up to date with AoM and future AoM stuff. So for that I thank you for championing it as someone else said not too many videos ago. If not for you I wouldnt have even known Retold has been in the works. Looking super forward to you doing Retold content! Keep the good content rolling and thank you humbly for all the awesome AoM content!

same, I want to reexperience the campaign in full. I don't even want to watch videos of it tbh. However I will be all over videos about game balance, unit costs and pvp.

Ahhh what a shame u won't be available, really. I hope u can play on saturday morning and show us!!

Let us hope that the game experiences an unprecedented revival in popularity. Boit would climb the 1-million-subscriber ladder within months!

The cheapest one is just addition to game (early access, two expansions etc) without game itself

Premium upgrade is mainly for Xbox as the base game is free on game pass, but you would need to buy the expansions contained in premium edition.

Three days of "beta" is nothing more than a glorified demo or load test. I have a bad feeling about this. Microsoft did something similar for AoE4, an inclomplete "Beta" several weeks before release. The result was a very bad state at release, especially in terms of balance. Because there was no proper, large scale testing.

They did actually have beta testers testing the game before AoE4 was released, but according to them, basically all of the criticisms they made got ignored and then Microsoft released the game anyway without fixing any of the issues brought up numerous times. Microsoft just doesn't care and wants to release games at the deadline they set, which is also why the original AoM released before the Norse pantheon and later campaign missions were properly polished.

Because it is load test lmao, they literally put it in the description at 2:25, "While our primary focus during closed beta is to ensure stability..."
