I loved GTA V so much. I personally do not care what people said about that game. It is such a complete and unique experience, with A LOT of things to do.

Sega needs to bring back Virtua Tennis I haven’t played any tennis game that has been as fun as virtua tennis 3

Career mode is honestly the most fun I’ve ever had playing a tennis game. The atmosphere is remarkable. It is a couple wonky animations but there are always several that are lifelike in its beauty. And the soundtrack is simple amazing. Why aren’t the artists names attatched to the songs? If I was the artist that would be mandatory,. The AI is the best I’ve ever seen in a tennis game. The third time will be the charm for this game and probably a masterpiece. They honestly need more licensed players and venues (especially the slams). And commentary. 9 out of 10 for me.

The career mode atleast looked more polished than wwe 2k20

Lmaoo and the budget for this game probably was like 15% of the budget for WWE 2k20. If this game had 2ks budget it would probably be one of the best career modes out there

Give Big Ant the required funding and they would smash this out of the park. Such a talented group of devs working magic on a shoe string budget.

When you create your own player there's 6 or so different moans or whatever you wanna call it to choose from. This review only showed existing players, but then again, it is ign so we can't expect them to actually play the game for more than 30 minutes.

We need Virtua Tennis. Damn, Virtua Tennis 3 on PS3 was so enjoyable. Especially the Career mode. So many training games and it really felt like you became better and better when you ranked up in the list. The higher you get the difficultier your opponent is. That game was so smooth, even the motions of the tennis players. Bring back Virtua Tennis or remaster that game please!!

Whenever I need a tennis game fix, I go play hot shot tennis. Best feel of tennis in a game ever.

My most fun experience with a tennis game was grand slam tennis 2 using the move controller, made feel like I was actually hitting the ball for real :)

I used to play a lot of Virtua Tennis on the PSP. That game was so fun.

The AI can activate their "zones" so the ball will be returned to you without them touching it with anything.

100 percent agree with this review. So many random glitches and I’ve only played a handful of games. I also just wish it was slightly faster. Just run a little bit quicker. Also also Doubles is near on impossible, my A.I never moves for cross court shots in there direction.

It's an improvement on the first game, but it more or less feels like an update to the first game, rather than a new game. Best to hold off if you're on the fence about it until some patches come along, but typically Big Ant games yo-yo with fixing something and breaking another.

There's no looking past the unrealistic refuse-to-lose AI. It's not just the near total absence of unforced errors; when the AI "decides" you're in position to take the game, it will freeze your player (they'll literally just stand there), cause your receiving player to boot serve returns for no apparent reason, the AI opponent will do things you can never do, your perfectly executed shots will randomly go out of bounds, etc.

honestly, tennis games have always been garbage and it is still the case in 2020. Give us a decent game EA or someone

All I think about is the Sega Dreamcast Virtua Tennis legend Mark Phillapousis!!

Coming from a guy who loves top spin 3 and grew up playing tennis games, I can confidently say this game is not bad. It has fluidity with strokes, nails the player's visuals and grunt, It also has humour with the way you can react to point and is overall a fun enjoyable game. Not to mention the challenge feature is neat.

It exists on AO international tennis aka the first game. It is the best option for current gen consoles if you don't want to by this version.

I'm looking at this because there is a sale on AO, but I'm wondering if it can compare to tennis elbow.

Oh yeah, and then when he shaved it you could see his hairline didn't match what was on his head, and he was mostly bald naturally, but totally not wearing w wig up until then.

Still not there, but you have to think that since the engine is there they'll be able to at some point make a great tennis game.

Looks like it's getting better but I think I will wait until the next version..

Is tennis world tour better/similar or worse then this game? Im trying to decide now they are on sale both. Tennis world tour is only 7€ while this cost 35€ so is it worth al the extra money? ALSO i read that tennus world tour develipers are most of the people who made top spin. And that was my favorite tennis game since nr 2 on the 360

has anyone noticed that the ball is very slow with some matches then super fast with others... my ball speed is slow and my appointment usually is super fast i don't understand that??? you can go to settings and adjust the game speeds but it doesnt seem to make a difference...

game looks okay. The ball mechanics definitely mess with my eyes though. The ball swivels like it's a ping pong ball. Hope people enjoy the game, looks like it has a great foundation to build off of

Top spin for the original Xbox will always be the greatest tennis game ever. Sad they can’t duplicate now with the advanced technology we have in 2020. Maybe one day they will if there’s a demand for it.

Played this for a week on the Switch, and as much as I want to like it, it is starting to wear thin on my patience. The two most immediate problems I have are the difficulty and lack of tutorial. The problem I have with the difficulty is that outside of career mode, it doesn't appear possible to change it. This results in the exhibition matches being way too easy and the Australian Open being way too hard. I was usually playing as Goffin, and could 6-0 everyone from Kyle Edmund to Nadal in Exhibitions. In the Australia Open I was up against the computer generated played as couldn't win a game. I did nothing different between the two so I couldn't understand why things were going so differently. I try career mode and here is where I spot the difficulty bar. But with no way to change it elsewhere it renders the other game modes useless. I got into the training here, but this is where the lack of tutorial rears it head. No indication of why all the serves in training will not go over the net. I eventually realise why out of sheer luck. Get to the first tournament in week 3, you have fatigue due to not traveling in advance. Ok, but why didn't the game warn me about that ahead of time? Really would be useful to have an introduction to these mechanics. Currently can only give it a 4/10.

0:54 - The return shot by the player on the low side of the screen was CLEARLY out since that's a Singles game, but the game did not count it as out. Am I missing some toggle option to play with out rules as doubles even in singles, or is this a problem on the games side?

Any decent modders out there able to make a squash variation of a tennis game or even make a squash video game?🙏
