I recommend that you read the manga since in the anime only the first 15 chapters are animated and the manga has 50 chapters and it is very unlikely that they will release season 2

When i was young i went to this year 6 camp and one of the ngihts we played a game called kick the bucket and the parents had to find us. I ran across the field and hid behind this hill but I wasn't alone there, my crush was there as well, lets call him j cos his name starts with j😅. Anyways I was just about to leave until he told me to stay cos the adults were near by. We almost got caught when j ran out so that he would get caught instead of both of us. After that I ran to find him so that I could go and kick the bucket and release them but I was caught. And it was a surprise to see the same thing happen on anime😁😅 it really brought back memories😊😔.

Read the manga it's even better

For the people who haven't watched Orange, it's kinda similar to Ao Haru Ride. But it shows more what happened to Kakeru(the guy that has been through the same things that Kou did) and what he feels. Bcz Kakeru blamed himself and I think Kou did too when his mother died. Also in Orange Kakeru has suicide thoughts but dw his friends save him. I love Ao haru ride, I just wish they made a season 2. I also recommend y'all to watch Orange too

I just freaking love this anime!! I really need season 2 even I just finished manga.. it was beautiful😩I love how in the end Kou was running after futaba and saw the flowers and said” it’s not like me “ and he bought them anyway😭I wish I could live in anime life😭 P.S Touma was such a bighearted 🥺he was so sweet🥺but he couldn’t break something what already started and never stopped.. I wish for him such a nice girl because he deserve it... and Kou omg I love him so much!!! I wish sometimes I met somebody like him😩

The train station scene never fails to make my heart flutter

I watched the anime when it was initially released and thought that there was no way that they were not releasing a second season. It was such a hit and the animation was off the charts. Years later and it seems unlikely that they will make season two which is absolutely crazy in my opinion. Does anyone know why we can't get a second season while shit animes get plenty of seasons?

It's either the studio doesn't want to pick it up. But, it wasn't cancelled so a studio could pick it up if the original one doesn't want too. It also has to have the right materials and due to Covid, it is hard making content with less people animating.
