This Alaskan glacier is so easy to get to! Anyone can just walk to it! It’s amazing how some Alaskan glaciers are so easily accessible. Probably one of the few places in the world where you can get up on a glacier. A GLACIER!! What??!!! This is Byron Glacier in Girdwood, Alaska. This is our first glacier experience in Alaska! And its really easy to get to- anyone can do it! Lots of beautiful Alaskan wilderness in this episode. The swans on the lake, the mountains and glaciers, and the salmon! Williwaw Creek had at least 3 of the 4 salmon swimming right in front of us! So neat to see. Those sockeye turn bright red at the end of their life. Its incredible the change they undergo.
