Anyone can build a bank: creating a new banking backend by Vlad Yatsenko
Ғылым және технология
Anyone can build a bank’ was the attitude with which Revolut approached the challenge of disrupting finance, but unsurprisingly there are quite a few stumbling blocks that stop (most) newbies. In this talk Vlad Yatsenko, co-founder and CTO of Revolut, will discuss the range of problems Revolut has encountered building a whole new banking backend, what mistakes they made along the way, and how they have scaled their solution to serve over 4 million users.

Essentially, it's almost like an online course "How to build a bank", but more concise. This talk is definitely undervalued. I enjoyed watching!

Great content but painful to listen to. Public speaking isn't easy, speakers especially the ones not from a public facing background should take some basic training. It is like a powerful product with a bad UI.

It is a good opportunity for us to practice Patience and understanding that some people communicate differently than others. Isn't it amazing that so many of us can communicate this easily.

It's just a matter of experience. One, two, free more talks, and he'll be much more fluent and smooth. Everyone is nervous for the first several times.

Deleting this comment would be a great idea; reading this before completing the video makes it much more apparent!
