You know what would be a really cool twist? I mean, I know the movie is already finished and all, but hear me out. What if…they actually fall for each other? Right? Like, while pretending to be a couple, they find out things about each other that deepens their connection and they end up falling in love. But neither wants to admit it to the other. And then at the end, just when the woman he’s trying to make jealous comes around and you think he’s going to go off with her, and Sweeney’s character is sad…he shows up at her door and is like, “You’re the one I’m in love with.” Crazy, I know. I should leave the scriptwriting to the professionals.

honestly I heard Sydney describing it as wanting a renaissance of romcoms and I agree! bring back good rom coms. we've had a long enough break from them.

A lot of old timers here that I have been watching for many years, Dermot Patrick Mulrone whom I LOVE in movies, especially The Thing called Love, such a great movie with Sandra, and many other amazing actors. Rachel Anne Griffiths I have loved for many years as well, especially in Muriel's Wedding...such an amazing movie. I didn't think the movie was starting that great at first, then it grew on me. It really did. The end? BEST ending ever, when they all sing the song. I love to see that in movies, when they are all doing something together, be it singing or dancing. Great cast, great movie. Great actors.❤🎉❤

I watched it only because the protagonist is identical to my neighbor. The film is difficult to watch because it is full of absurd clichés. I hate those movies where they try to show modern parents who are friends with their children. Furthermore, they show a generation of young people completely spoiled by progressivism.

it’s amazing to see how a change of music and video cutting has changed the vibe and for me, made it more interesting

This movie actually looks pretty funny lol. The opening bit was good lol, gave me a good chuckle. People say it’s an unoriginal movie plot and predictable but lol you could say that about most movies. It’s all about execution. Looks good lol.

I watched this movie tonight. It's pretty solid considering the fact it's a romantic comedy. I didn't expect anything deep or groundbreaking so I wasn't disappointed. On the contrary, I even had fun. Sydney and Glen have amazing energy, they're great to look at and the movie was a fresh summer breeze in my dark cold winter days. It doesn't pretend it's something it's not, it's fun and lighthearted - definitely wouldn't mind seeing it again sometime in the future.

I'm a fan of hers but I don't exactly think she helps herself if she's wanting to be taken seriously for her acting and not "reduced to her body" with some of the projects she picks, photoshoots she takes part in and advertising campaigns she endorses, I'm all for female empowerment but she'll find herself pigeonholed as the sex symbol/bombshell stereotype if she isn't careful.

We’ve seen this movie a million times, in fact this exact plot has been done before in a big budget romcom. But I still rlly respect and like both of these actors, who’ve done great work in the past, so i rlly dont mind seeing them pair up, not sure if they have that much chemistry though. Still, weird that considering how many movies that are released that are fantastic but dumped onto streaming services and forgotten but then u have the most predictable mediocre run-of-the-mill films that get theatrical release
