I understood the 12th element in the "observation". But, why are there 11 states in it? I could find 8 states from the model. Are branches included too?

Hi Adil! Yes, you are correct and the branches are included, although it will be considered as superfluous information in the observation state. There are: 1 composite state (operating), 5 simple states, 2 final states, and 3 branches which will be 11 in total.
