Sorry to see this and I can relate. Happened to me too in the last month or two and wiped out everything. Had to play the game afresh to get enough skill points to get back into online hacking. Even now I can't top up the battery branch so I'm always limited to 3 batteries.

Me too. You can't unlock the hacker toolkit without restarting the story. So frustrating.

Same here, at least twice. What's weird though is I can still hack steam pipes and all that stuff, but things like blast resistance, rapid reload, and the number of explosives I can carry is totally reset.

@@iantotalrecall It's so annoying. I'd take the notoriety reset any day over the skill tree.

When did it happen to you ? Xbox or PS4 ? Did you kill Aiden after you lost a hack or something similar ? It can trigger the reset, but its not 100% confirmed.

It's happened about 3 or 4 times in the past 2 months on PS4. I don't recall what happened before the other ones, but most recently it was right after a hack against a player who permajammed me then went afk. So I waited a while but when they weren't coming I went in a glitch to hide for a while then went afk myself, came back later to find they had killed me. Then I killed Aiden to refill my ammo, and I didn't notice the skill reset until my next hack. Before I initiated, I killed Aiden to get away from the other player and died in one shot from the grenade launcher lol

So it's no wonder Rinto says that it only takes up 40% of his power, since he was stuck in not being able to improve the skill tree.😂

Has happened to me years ago but not recently ( yet ) Have you tried downloading previous data?

​​@@BEERFEST071- Go to settings then application saved management. 2 - then saved data online or system. 3-then download to system storage. 4- then choose watch dogs. 5- Press all 3 WD saved files and press download. Finally - choose apply to all - then yes. It might be different on Xbox but it sometimes works for me.
