Thanks for the video Mr. D! We haven't had to replace the furnace or A/C system in our house yet after 15+ years, and I'm more than a little scared what the final bill will be when we have to do either. Knocking on wood our good fortune will continue for a while longer. Kayak season should be opening soon in the Northeast, as usual right around the time the season starts closing up in FL. Hope you can get some more in before the heat and humidity ends things for the summer.

There is a heat pump tax credit up to $2,000 if what you got included a new heat pump. The energy efficiency may save you $600/year. Hopefully you win in the long run

When our air conditioning goes out we are not fixing it. I'm going to look into doing a mini split

I have heard stories, which now are true of roof jobs 5 years ago costing 7 or 8 thousand now are 20 thousand and my experience with the air. Ridiculous!
