I am really getting to be a fan of these three legged anvil stands. Check out how I built this one.

I really liked the bends you did to secure the anvil to the stand. I have all my materials to make a tripod stand, even cut and have been thinking about how to attach it to it. I will try the way you did. Thanks for sharing!

Great video. Great stand. I'm going to have to try one of these stands. Watched the premier but I couldn't comment. My technical problem not yours.

..daggummit, hate i missed the premier. the only concern i got on the 3-legg is how much room they take up vs- a stump type. i hope you tell us later on...

trust me Brandon if there was wasps in that tubing you'd knew it long before the cut it'd been as soon as you moved it i can tell you that from experience!! my welder crapped out i had to go wood otherwise i'd do a tripod stand for mine!! Brandon you need to do a video on tap and die use that is my bane! it drives me nuts those 4 holes would have taken me close to if not over an hour to tap and cutting threads! just getting them started is a royal bitch with PMS! you know if you're going to be doing much twisting with that vice it might be worth welding a plate to the bottom wide enough to stand on to keep it from moving on you!

That's not quite how to use a tap LOL. Great vid though. I and others hit a large wasp nest by accident. To get the others inside safer I took the brunt of the stings. I ended up with head to toe stings, that at the last count I remember, were over 200. I passed out. I survived without going to a doctor though. Back then unless you were actually dying you didn't go to a doctor. Calamine lotion and rest were the prescribed treatment and it worked. Not all roses though. My brother has an allergy to stings even to this day. So I am glad that the nest was an old one and not a live one. Sand works quite well. I would use it and not oil.

What rpm do you set your drill to for cutting through the 1" plate?
