+SR Bee she can't risk a failure. the producers the directors all worked hard on the movie. Anushka worked hard. she deserves that success. this is not just Salmans movie

Except for movies like wanted, Tubelight or few more, all salman movies has strong female characters. His character is driven by women in his life.

She is so damn honest...being a celebrity she has dat innocent motive of carrying water from sultan set to her own production.

I seriously always love and look forward to your interviews with Anushka, they seem so genuine. It's like you're two friends actually sitting down to share your ideas. Plus I love how real Anushka is, we've needed someone like her in the industry for a long time.

I absolutely loved SULTAN & I absolutely loved her character in the film. WHOEVER THINKS AARFA WAS REGRESSIVE & BACKWARD MINDED CAN TAKE A SEAT, IN FACT, YOU ALL SHOULD TAKE SEVERAL SEATS... Aarfa was a strong independent woman who very well knew what she wanted with her life. She optimized her priorities with the requirement of the situation. To carry a child in her womb is a great feeling for most of the women in the world. That motherly feeling can not be described in words. It's so precious. She was back at her work few years after. She was back at what she was doing but at that time she chose to bring in a new life to this world & it was her free choice. She gave her child the priority. She made that decision freely. Feminism is not about male bashing & just about having a career outside. If we can respect the right of a woman to have a career then shouldn't we also respect the right of a woman to choose her family over a career? It doesn't make her any lesser than a career woman. Bringing up children & making a home is equally a very tough job. Feminism is about making free choices without anybody's pressure & do what your mind & heart says. Such idiotic writers in firstpost or some other website are doing no good for women. What Aarfa did for women these pseudo self proclaimed feminist writers can never do. That's why I suggest take a back seat & stop writing. Anushka as Aarfa shines & how!!! More power to her for doing this role & nailing it! She is undoubtedly one of the most effortless performers of our time!

You don't seem to get the point. Writers are questioning what motivates her towards taking that decision. There is still the societal influence behind most of her flawed decisions in the movie. Just because it is a comfortable choice for men and pleases men, it doesn't have to be rooted for.

***** The worst thing is she has come across as a pseudo-feminist and tries to vehemently defend her bosses, by even sarcastically taking a dig at those who criticized her role. That's pure vehemence. Yes, the family rhetoric is an eyewash, a brainwash, just because men are comfortable with control. They don't see anything wrong in it either because they are too blinded to do so. Women suffer even if she has a great family because her needs or emotions will not be met in the grand family set up. Ayurveda says women suffer arthritis and cancer because they sacrifice their lives living for others, while their cells protest against the choices she makes, because the cells have to be fed upon. We leave women in internal conflicts with the need to nurture a family, give birth to a child and "Oh come on, it's a child yaar," like Anushka would pretend to have us believe. A baby is purely a woman's choice, which doesn't happen that way in Sultan. She wants to please him and so she bears the child and the character is also designed as such to please the audiences for a blockbuster. Yes, men don't need to tell women about how family is so important. And even spiritually, family is a selfish unit, which is not the be-all and end-all of life. It's not the ultimate goal of one's life or the holy grail. Even men get heart attacks because they are in pursuit of control over everyone and everything like at least a family. When they know they must not influence or control anyone, especially a woman, that's when they can least understand feminism.

I so much agree with you. She has asked Anushka such comfortably questions which are absolutely decent and fun at the same time .loved watching the interview . I love Anushka Sharma so much..

I love her so much. I love that you do these interviews with her, Anupama, because it's your interviews with Anushka that have brought out her truly remarkable character. Her honest opinions on hot topics, her feelings about the way the industry works, her inside scoops regarding her equations with superstars on sets. You bring this intriguing information so naturally out of her that it doesn't even seem like it was a plot point in your head. This is the mark of a stupendous interviewer Kudos to you. I love anushkas brutal honesty and the way she speaks her mind so eloquently. Unlike so many high-profile actors you interview, I know anushka brings out utmost enjoyment and excitement from you when you interview her because she's someone who isnt guarded or reserved. she doesnt avoid a question or downplay the wrongdoings of industry members or colleagues out of fear for losing her positon. That is why I respect her dearly. I don't understand the dislikes on this video. I guess society has an issue with strong and fully capable woman. Well I don't. I love them, and I'm a guy. I agree. God only knows. The dislikes are those small societal misunderstandings of how strong women should speak, think and act. What is okay for them and what crosses the line which never enters the conversation when a bro is talking. If its equality we want than torah chese hai stupid quibbles about gender based good behavior get more in the way than are at all helpful. To think how much your approval gets robbed from an actor just because you might choose to misunderstanding how they act, why they act that way or why you can't find anything good about it for no reason. Yes. All those dislikes? Maybe the dislikes need to grow up when their brain starts shrinking.

Another great interview by Anupam with Anushka. I think it is great that Anushka takes on the thinking of who she portrays and respects that person's thoughts and decisions. She also shows great courage and it was great to refer back to the older interview which was outstanding and the pouring in of support for Anushka was great to see. And I thought she was respectful of Salman Khan. I think he would be a difficult interview maybe not. Anupam rarely mentions him and he seems an interior extrovert whereas Anushka seems an extroverted introvert. This is a great interview.

It is always such a pleasure to watch her interviews. She is so candid and articulate. And such a bad ass!!! Love that you can watch her on and off screen and she is lovely unlike some people whose interviews are a snooze fest. much love to you my dear!

Movie was fine and entertaining but the approach towards her character was same old and a bit regressive.. ambitious women who gives up her dream after marriage/motherhood and that was sad. Mary Kom nd her story is encouraging and empowering.. But Anushka was amazing as Arfa and I luv her :)

What a wonderful channel. The previous Anushka interview was really good too. As the previous episode ended though, I asked myself _Why is this just 18 minutes?_ I thought the same for this one cause it was such a great conversation. Why not an hour or two if it's possible? I That'd be really cool! It's on KZread anyways - and this is the best way to be real, away from the fast paced bullshit momentum of news. bringing real conversations to life on camera is so much more satisfying (as was in this and the Anushka interview) instead of the pre-internet era model of interviews. There's just so much potential for this to become a great podcast (similar to the JRE podcast - ex kzread.info/dash/bejne/nZaXyM2SepDgprA.html) . This is real and taps into actual conversations (equality, etc), not just vacuous promotions. Keep up the good work guys!
