ANNAVARU is national actor -- He may be from Kannada film Industry -- But gave classical acting to entire nation ( Perhaps the world - But culturally Hollywood is different ) .. He is great Singer as well.. Nobody is there in Film world who is Great Actor as well as Great Singer ..

I am a Telugu man who does not understand much of Kannada but I must say this scene was very well made and enacted in Kannada version. This movie was remade in Telugu several years later and this very important scene was completely ruined by the Telugu director - in the Telugu version the mother does not die, just falls down, the hero slaps the heroine and leaves and the entire emotion is gone.
