I also knew that he'd written the dialogues for Satya and Shool, which in those days were very different films. Eventually, during Black Friday I read a lot about his famous police chase sequence and began to really listen to him talk. Gulal and Dev D were released when I was studying PG and by then I was listening to every interview he did. I read the book about making of Gangs of Wasseypur - and saw the documentary on its making. Other than this, I listen to a lot of film makers interviews - Tarantino, Nolan m, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Vishal Bhardwaj. And I really try to understand what they are trying to say. I'm not 50, but even if I was - I don't know why that is relevant to ask?

People get caught in colleges for such drug use. But now it's such a surprise and horrible thing for everyone. And NCB or the people were not concerned about the drug menace.

He says smoking in public places is an offense. So what, he found him smoking in a Mall or a train or inside a cinema hall? Hasn't he heard about smoking zones? Yep, he lacked self confidence. So, the most decorated director & producer of bullywood SLB wanted to cast him for his movies before Ranveer Singh. I think people misunderstood the term 'lack of self-confidence'. You can be confident in your work, you can be successful and talented and still be weighed down with insecurity. This is what was so scary about his suicide. I can relate to being awkward and shy and sensitive to failure. Especially for someone who knows that they are talented/capable, there is a need to prove themselves and the disappointment at being misjudged is huge. And you are right, he was in the wrong industry where mistakes are amplified and not easily forgiven and even the most intelligent people can lose perspective. This is also why I think this case, which is clearly of suicide and begs for mental health issues to be taken seriously, has been so botched up by the media. People, understandably, refuse to believe that someone rich and successful may want to end his/her life but this disbelief minimizes a person's struggle with depression.

I really fear for this guy and Faye. They are so going to be trolled and called names for speaking the truth. I really wish people used common sense. One of the best interviews on this whole Sushant/ Kangana/ drugs drama. The questions asked by Faye D’Souza are logical and Anurag’s answers makes sense. A logical discussion is what we needed and I’m happy it is here.

After a really long time I have watched an interview that was calm, practical, unsensationalised and made sense. I feel like there are 3 types of people in this country. People that rule, people waiting blindly to be ruled and third, very small percentage that can use their understanding to decide what is right and wrong. All I can say at this point is - God bless this nation and its people. I hope at some stage people realise what is going on and act accordingly. This ridiculousness needs to stop.

The whole crux of this madness in Bollywood was mental health issues. How difficult is for people to get sensitised with depression, anxiety etc. studies have shown time and again people with depression are more prone to drug and substance abuse. I’ve had depression for years now and I went through a phase where I was abusing alcohol only because there was no other help available. But, at the same time it is a personal choice too. Why aren’t people able to digest the fact whatever Sushant did- he was an adult and did things out of his own choice. Sorry but not that he was a saint either-he had his share of success, downfalls, affairs, drugs etc. Still how does all of this justify the media trail against a girlfriend. And why are unrelated people getting footage from media channels constantly. Is this country free of other important issues? Debates should be on Police reforms, reformation of how cases are investigated, forensic reformation where evidence is not tampered with by media etc and ban of media trials.

Why are the media people only focusing upon Bollywood for drugs? What about our present political leaders, and what about Arnab Goswami the drug addict.
