My favourite Anuj Kapadia

The show has changed so badly after the entry of Maaya. The makers are always in for twists but the viewers are not! Anupama initially planned some things for her growth, like giving employment to women in a branded hotel, doing a course on financial literacy, participating in international dance shows, etc. But all this is gone! As if the makers have completely forgotten that they had written these things at some point of time. I guess their writers change every day and write whatever they wish. This show began to encourage the notion of empowering a homemaker, showing her growth, but to sheer dismay, the show has landed onto a big MESS! and the way they are promoting the idea of Infidelity is indeed praiseworthy (sarcasm). As if all marriages are meant to be broken, all husbands are meant to deceive their wives, all partners 'have' to be in an illicit relationship is just pathetic. Anupama has become like any other daily soap opera.

I don't agree with the idea that showing infidelity as a theme in the plot implies it is trying to glorify it. I mean, how can you show the consequences of 'Infidelity' on family relationships without showing it? The glorification need to be judged on the basis of characters rxn to the issue/conflict not on the idea of showing the conflict itself. The focus is on showing that women do h've an option/choice to leave a toxic relationship if they want nd NOT that all husbands are cheaters.
