Old movies were made for African audience and our movie writers, directors, producers, and actors didn’t make any money then..Most of them even died broke..Current Nigerian movies have global appeal and that’s why Netflix and other streaming platforms flooded their channels with recently produced Nigerian movies…The current writers and directors are business oriented and they have been reaping the financial benefits of making movies that appeal to a global audience…It was a smart business decision and everyone who works in the industry is making decent money from movie production..

Before now, the online streaming platforms were not there. The videos were sold allover the world in DVDs and CDs. If Netflix were to be around then, you would have seen the movies on their platforms. That technology changed the mode didn't give the new entrants any edge over the established actors. Even today, their services are considered premium over the new entrants. Our movies have always been on global market just that digital marketing changed the perspective and availability. Netflix buys and prefer new movies with the old actors than movies with the new actors. I appreciate you for watching visiting our channel.
