Anubhav Singh Bassi is an Indian actor, KZreadr and stand-up comedian. His career as a standup comic started after an open mic in 2017. Bassi's KZread videos have got 200 million+ views and he has over 4 million subscribers along with 3 million+ followers on Instagram. Along with this, he has done a monologue for Amazon Funnies and a cameo in ZEE5's Comedy Couple (2020). He has done his show tour in more than 35 cities across India. He also delivered a Ted Talk about his struggles. In January 2023, Bassi announced his Bollywood debut with Luv Ranjan's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor which got released on 8 March 2023. Interview lene wala aur interview dene wala dono chutiye h honge pata hi ni school me kya sikhaya jata h…. Padh lete thoda toh desh ko sudhar b lete
" itne akele reh liye ki ab kisike saath nahi raha jata" this one line said all about my past 12 years, didn't even realize when and how i became like that and if it is even good or bad. From where i come this interviews gave me many flash back of my life. Thanks for making this video possible, i didn't know i needed this. All the laughs in conversation made my eyes wet. Much love and respect for both of you.

These interviews are not to be taken seriously honestly 😅. Guests end up speaking a lot of things in the flow and in the moment, subconsciously seeking some validation, fans and empathy. A person who is genuinely pensive and clueless about life can never ever chase materialism in a way these guests do, in spite of exaggerating about their confusion, anxiety, directionlessness in life and what not in such interviews.

Neelesh. This is a great interview. I studied in a NLU as well, and hail from Bangalore. Most of what Bassi has described is how the rest of India operates- gives a lot of clarity on why certain things happened the way they did. And also helps in seeing a life outside of the law. Keep up the good work- your interviews are top notch.

Stumbled upon this probably due to Bassi. Interesting format and it leaves you with a pleasant feel good mood. Maybe this is what we all need in our lives, to stop and take things a bit slow, even if only sometimes. The thing that compelled me to comment is the discussion you opened towards the end re content creation and the responsibilities around it. While I understand the concerns, I do believe that we sometimes take extra control of things and try to control the lens and experiences for others as per our ideology. If I compare ourselves to a thousand years back, the children were much more exposed/aware of their surroundings and general practicalities of life including life, death, battle, fraud etc. and they achieved wonders in such young age while now we keep children in cocoon for the first 20 odd years of their lives and then release them with such huge burden of expectations/responsibilities that they forget to live and maybe this is one of the reason of addiction to devices as the world out there has been painted so scary. Anyway, a long debate but I am sure an exciting one, whenever it happens. Cheers.

It takes a lot of courage to speak with this level of transparency. Bassi is so well aware of his talent, flaws and his mental health. May he get lots of hugs, love and happiness. सर मैं आपका बहुत बड़ा फैन हूं जब मैं 2011 में इलाहाबाद रहा करता था उस समय स्मार्टफोन नहीं हुआ करते थे फिर भी आपकी कहानी मैं एक फोन में जिसमें रेडियो था उसमें सुनता था कुछ आप लिखते थे कुछ आपके साथी भी लिखते थे जो एक से बढ़कर एक थी। अपने गांव कनेक्शन शुरू किया यह बहुत ही सराहनीय कदम है वैसे समाज में चिंताएं तो बहुत है परंतु एक गंभीर चिंता है -जातिवाद का जो शहर में गांव की अपेक्षाकृत कम है ; एक वाक्य में बोलूं तो आपका गांव कनेक्शन तब सफल हो जाएगा जिस दिन आप गांव से जातिवाद को समाप्त करवाने में सफल हो जाएंगे ।

My village (Bhagwanpur) is near by Bassi bhai's village in Meerut. I belongs to same background, cumminity( Punjabi jat) and culture as Bassi bhai comes from. I keep visiting Jassi bhai's village (Behlolpur) very often to see my relatives. I can relate to each and every word he mentioned. Farmers do a lot to make their kids competitive with shahri kids and kids as well as parents do a lot of struggle and secrifies just to make their kids successful. Very happy and proud to see him succeed. ❤ 🙏

Perhaps this show does help with calming the mind. Listening to the slow interview has always been my respite but today specially, I had a time getting out of bed for some reason. I guess, just didn't want to tackle the day. I opened KZread and listening to this conversation helped me to take those small steps, as I went about the mundane chores and work. Slowly I did start to feel better. It was a little win. My little win and all thanks to you ❤️

Thank you Neelesh Ji,for this interview with Bassi. what an honest interview, bassi felt like "HOME". Loved the whole conversations. But one thing in the end, which i really proud is that. How bravely and genuinely, bassi talked about Men's mental health and power , importance of therapy. Its very imp to take therapy to understand your pattern and certain behaviors , so that you fix yourself and can avoid hurting yourself and anyone in any relationship/ any innocent human in your life. That's an amazing way to live your life Peacefully.
