v roce 2006,27.9. jsem byl u sestry v obci Mratín.Najednou jsem slyšel divný zvuk.Směrem k Ruzini přistávala MRIJA.Tehdy jsem nevěděl o jaké letadlo se jedná.Tento pohled a zážitek mi zůstane v mysli celý život.Určitě se vyrobí nová letadla,ale to byl pohled...Fotoaparát jsem měl uložem na ,,BEZPEČNEM"místě.Měkdy si říkám,kdybych natáhnul ruku a stáhnul ji za tu jeji dvojitou ploutev,mohl jsem mít krásnou hračku pro mého vnuka.Tak blízko byla.

This airplane didn't fly off Prague. It pushed Prague back behind it.

The one and only beautiful beast that is now no more.

I remember when one of these landed at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, Arizona it was amazingly huge. I remember when a Mil Mi Hind helicopter came to Phoenix and they parked just off the freeway at an FBO that thing towered over the freeway. Soviet Union made things huge.

Not sure if you are aware but there was only one in service the other one is in pieces and used for parts you're only 2 made I don't even think the second one was finished still an amazing aircraft

Вы неучи! Антонов Ан-225 МРИЯ Этот самолет был построен 90 авиационными институтами СССР. Более того, для Антонова крылья самолета были построены Ташкентским авиационным предприятием. Увы, даже птицы не летают без крыльев.

Oleg Antonov was a Russian aeronautical engineer as were Tupulev and Ilyushin and Mikoyan and Gurevich. In the CCCP era all these airplanes were actually built in Russia. Later, a lot of manufacturing was spread out to Ukraine to alleviate congestion in Moscow. With the downfall of CCCP, most Ukrainians, which are probably some of the most nationalistic people on earth claim this airplane as their " creation ", which is nothing further from the truth. This is like saying the Volkswagen " Beetle " which was totally developed in Germany is Mexican, because it was lately built there! Apple I phones are built in China, let's all scream Glory to China? Get it, my friend?

I am sorry but my last comment was wrong on the 225 each engine puts out 44.400 for a total of257.600 pounds of thrust versus the 129.500of thrust each so for 2 engines that's 259.000 of thrust

Great shot of the terminal building. I believe this aircraft has only visited Australia - Perth - once and that was to deliver an electrical transformer weighing I seem to recall 60 tonnes. Maybe someone out there in KZread land has better info ???????????????

I was going to say that its great nothing fell off it as it took off but we dont know as it went behind the terminal building.I once flew aeroflot during the cold war with a stop over in moscow it was a very grey epxerience.

Normally I don't understand dislikes on videos like this but I definitely understand dislikes on this video lol. You could not see the takeoff cause of the airport building and you probably waited 7 minutes plus (I didn't wait..I just fast forward lol)
