I think he does have CTE but not from one hit. the C in CTE stands for "chronic" meaning repetitive so its hard to point to one hit. Secondly, the first interview took place early in ABs career before he really did much, the second interview was after his success. I think success changed him more than any single head injury. Furthermore, remember that the hit occurred in 2015 a year he led the league in receptions, he then went on to 3 more 100+ reception seasons and led the league in yards and TDs again after the hit. Also, for everyone born after 1998 look up a Terrell Owners interview from pre 1997, then post 2005 he's a completely different person.

Man it’s sad. Brown, in all honesty, is probably a top 5 receiver all time talent wise. Dude was fucking incredible. And he has such a horrible reputation now, deservedly so. It’s just upsetting that a guy who was so skilled at his craft can have such a dramatic fall from grace. The hall of fame will never indict him, though he 100% deserves it. 6 year peak I believe he had from age 25-30 or something like that was definitely the best 6 year span any receiver has had. Rice from 92-96 was incredible but had far less catches, Megatron from 2010-2013 was a beast but had one season with 77 catches and another with only 5 TDs, and Julio from 2014-2019 put up an insane amount of yards, great catch numbers, but never eclipsed 8 TDs in a season. We just need to all pray for this man to not lose his mind or die young beacause of his brain damage. Happens too much in this league, nothing but respect for what he did for the bucs in that superbowl year, and up until the point he walked off in that jets game. Had a way better chance of going back to back with him, but im not gonna be mad for what he did, cause he needs help, its not his fault, CTE is tragic

@@USDS_TikTok_Mike Yeah and CTE is also caused by many smaller hits, not necessarily one big concussion. It's basically unavoidable, I don't think ABs problems are CTE. And if they are it's only a part of the puzzle. It's why boxers have very noticeable CTE at high rates, they get hit with smaller impacts than a football player but they get hit way more often.

The thing is they’re getting to a point where they can diagnose it, if not conclusively then at least yeah there’s 80% chance. Here in Australia the rugby league immortal Wally Lewis has recently come out and announced he’s retiring from being a sports presenter and commentator, because with all the scans he’s had it’s become apparent that during the late 70s-92 his brain was effectively destroyed by high shot after high shot. Plus whatever he did when he was defending. He doesn’t blame the game or anything just “the game gave me everything, and now it’s taking away. I wouldn’t change my life for anything.”
Coming from multiple concussions from football it definitely impacted me. Coaches didn't believe I had one and didnt call an ambulance. I couldnt stop puking on the sideline and they made me keep playing. Definitely believe it has impacted me mentally.

@@Jonquall He for sure has changed. Couple things to remembered, How long was he in the league before this hit, as in contract talks, hadn't he already signed a pretty big contract? Here's why I ask, After players get the guaranteed money, they get more relaxed, act more of who they are then who they've conditioned themselves to be for the Team, For the NFL, for the endorsements. Maybe a bait in switch right? But i believe he was in the league for a bit at this point and I can remember him acting like he has for the last 3-4 years. Which has left a lot of people who know him confused. So i think the guy at the beginning of this video was the Antonio Brown people knew. I think the guy we all see now for sure is a man who's suffering from CTE. They've got to find a way sooner then later to clearly test and see what's happening with TBI before it gets to this point. Same with our military and other sports. Its sad that you can see the change and yet no one close to him can get him, and get him to see it. Even if its admitting he needs to stop playing.

Burfict should have been completely banned from the NFL for this. Sure he has money and whatever he wants but his head is destroyed. He ruined his life with a dirty and cheap shot. Seriously what a POS
