Two wrongs don’t make a right and there is no justification for what Hamas did to innocent Israeli civilians. Up to now people were afraid to criticise Israel’s treatment of the innocent Palestinian civilians. Is it any surprise that the Hamas terrorist group formed when this has gone on for decades. It will take cool, IMPARTIAL, Negotiators (rules out the U.S.) to work out some kind of peace accord, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Do you know that Israel left Gaza in 2005? Hamas had all the chance to create an amazing city-state there. If they didn't support violence and the end of Jews in the world, they could have had a country. They get aid, help, and could have much less strict borders, they could have created a vacation destination. The majority of criticism of Israel brings a lot of antisemitism. You can be against certain policies but using the dog whistles and questioning the genetically proven ties or right of the Jewish people to live in their ancestral homeland is antisemitic through and through. Anyone who has seen the criticism has seen the antisemitism runs rampant. Surely there’s a way to not use dog whistles when criticizing policies, most just can’t seem to grasp that idea.

Also, Alyssa suggesting for a country of poor children (the median age in palestine is 18) to stand up (unsupported and in terrible conditions) and revolt against hamas is simply unfair.

Additionally, in terms of its role as a colonizing force, I'm curious if there were any Jewish communities already living in that region before Israel's establishment. Secondly, the examples Alyssa gave of Harvard graduates critiquing the Israeli government. Why is that being conflated with antisemitism? Joy literally just made the point 3 mins ago that you should be able to criticize one w/o the other. The article did not say anything about Jewish people yet those lawyers got punished unjustly for an OPINION about a foreign country. Free speech isn’t free depending on the group discussed 🤷🏾‍♂️

People don't want to recognize the suffering of innocent people caught in the middle of a conflict between the Israeli government and the Defacto government of Palestine. People like Alyssa who always claiming to be pro-life can't grasp that an innocent Israeli life should be valued the same as an innocent Palestinian life if she can't do that than she should no longer refer to herself as pro-life.

I think I can answer Joy's question. Yes, there are antisemitic people out there but people are seemingly losing their jobs because they're condemning the murder of innocent people for no reason. I live in Florida (Tallahassee, to be exact.) And our governor basically said that anyone who criticized Israel is liable to lose their jobs. This is an agregious violation of freedom of speech. Also, a lot of this is in the Southern States where a lot of these politicians (DeSantis included) literally think that this is a war between the forces of God and Satan. It's almost like I'm being forced to support a war I have no connection to under duress. I guarantee that the more this war goes on, it's going to get real, real ugly out there.

It’s not “lately.” Ilhan Omar got called Antisemitic when she criticized Israel when Trump was president.

Why doesn’t these ladies let Sunny say what she wants to say? She’s the only giving humanity for the Palestinians. I’ve seen on instagram where she liked the coverage of Al Jazeera reporting in Gaza. She understands the sentiment of the oppressed.

Why are we ignoring the atrocities that Israel has committed against the people of Palestine? Palestine is not a terrorist country, it is a group that is responsible for the terrorist attacks. However Palestine has blood on their hands as well for how their military has brutalized Palestinian people for decades. This is not anti-semitism and two things can be true at the same time. I feel that this is the point Sunny was going to make and I hate that they cut her off because it’s an importance nuance to make in this discussion. Also, let me say that I denounce the hammas attacks against Israel, killing innocent people is never ok. So don’t try and make that a part of my argument because it’s not.

This might be one of the few times I wanted Sunny to speak more…

Sara is slowly but, surely merging into an Alyssa. She tries to make Alyssa feel so comfortable and backed in her approaches to the conversation (whether Alyssa actually even believes what she’s saying or not) that she often just merges into her instead. Sara was not always on point in her views but, she tended to have a more balanced approach to topics. Now she’s all over the place and seems to be more on the side of “political correctness” which is 99.99% of the time just lies. Stop conflating yourself with Alyssa and trying to protect her. She is an adult human and chooses to say the things that she does, regardless of the “view” she was hired to speak to. So she has to own when people don’t agree with the lies. She CHOOSES to do that and be there as that person. You can never quite trust Alyssa’s view because she is very much so afraid and ignorant about most topics and is used to being in environments that were bred in lies to ever actually see things clearly (if not that’s what she gives off constantly). Even though, sometimes you see that she gets it, she constantly chooses the lie, which probably registers as safety for her in some way. The comment on Jew-ish people: “they’re one of the only people groups on earth who their right to exist is constantly questioned” is obviously incorrect. The only group that receives this energy consistently is Black people. Though all hate is wrong, obviously. Alyssa is very dangerous due to her willingness to allow her ignorance/lies to so easily flow through her on a platform of this scale.

Yes JEW-ISH, I am Jew-ish and have connections to ALL sides but, it does not stop me from seeing the TRUTH of it all. Wrong is wrong and a lie is a lie. I think one of the biggest issues is that people are sadly combining being Pro-Palestine with being antisemitic. Like those two things should not go together. Supporting one group of people doesn’t give the right to start hating on another. And like how we separate Hamas from the innocent Palestinians, we should also separate the Israeli government from the innocent Israelis. And like they mentioned none of these people chose to be born into this conflict. But it’s the 1% of the Israeli government and Hamas continuing this issue while damaging so many innocent lives.

Let Sunny speak--she is right to keep repeating about looking at the history. Yes, anti-Semitism should never be tolerated. And there is a big difference between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism. Ask the Jewish Voice for Peace. Invite one of those people on your show... and have a Palestinian who has lived in Gaza on your show to share what living under Israeli occupation is like.

According to this lady hostage release by Hammas, she said she was treated with dignity and respect. Can we say Israel is doing the same with innocent people in Palestine???

According to this same lady (if you watched and listened to all that she said) she was dragged off and beaten with a stick by Hammas. That same elderly lady also has an elderly husband who is STILL being held by Hamass as well as over 200 other innocent men, women and CHILDREN. Can you say they are all being treated with dignity and respect? And what dignity and respect were given to the innocent people slaughtered in Israel on October 7? By the way Israel doesn’t have any hostages, you are probably referring to prisoners who are treated with dignity and respect.
