Fiona Bruce and the team travel to the Bishop's Palace in Wells, Somerset. Among the objects under scrutiny are one of the earliest objects ever seen on the Roadshow, a painting by Rolf Harris's grandfather, and a plate reputedly found in Captain Scott's tent on the ill-fated Antarctic expedition.

It's been a pleasure to watch Fiona Bruce "grow up"...☺️... She has a presence that transcends the camera and reflects her"realness" to "real" people.

Every single time the person who handles the rare books and papers mishandled the rare books and papers. He has no idea what a book cradle is or a vertical display easel. AMATEUR

No. In recent years we have learned that gloves are more likely to damage the pages since it is more difficult to turn just one page with a glove on. Anthony is living in the past and is blissfully unaware that the advice of the past is no longer relevant.

To me thats not an axe head but instead a scrapper, if had point or end was also tappered in before a widen base making it a spear. Being from usa, we see flint workings, spears, arrow heads, scrappers, knifes.

Pertaining to the relic shown at the 31 minute mark - You are both wrong about the age of the relic. Nothing on this earth can be older than 6900 years old. According to the first chapter of the Book of Genesis - God SPOKE this Earth and the Universe into existence during the first week of Creation. Each day had a morning and a night. 2 individuals actually took the time to do the genealogy from Adam to the very present and both came up with a little less than 6900 years. Everything you see is exactly the way God created it.. Just because stars and galaxies are billions of light years away doesn’t mean time gets older and older. God created it just the way you see it.. I still enjoy getting the knowledge of all the items on the Roadshow..

The speed of light is an constant in this universe. The Andromeda galaxy is more than 2 million light years away. That means it takes light from the stars of Andromeda 2 million years to make it to our planet. Thus if the universe was only 6900 years old, we would not be able to see it. I could go on about how you have rocks in your backyard that are far older than 6900 years old and how we know for sure that their were civilizations before 4900 BC, but I also know that it is pointless to point these things out to a brainwashed member of a cult for whom the truth is irrelevant. *Humans created the gods, not the other way around.*

@@Great-Documentaries The only thing that is Constant is: The God of the Bible Spoke the Earth and the Universe into Existence just a little less than 6900 years ago. This CAN be proven.. Your information CANNOT be proven. Be very careful with your words about God. You are very close to blaspheming the Holy Spirit.. I’ll be praying for you..
