OMG this rhinestone stuff reminds me of my grandmother SO much. I used to love see what pretty stuff she’d wear to church on Sundays. I wish I would’ve been able to have a few pieces from her stuff after she based, but being a boy no one thought that was something I’d want. I think I even asked my mom to see if she could get one pin or something, but it didn’t happen. Always love seeing these.

@@prestonstmarket I hope so! Most of hers were that really rainbow (oil slick) sheen stuff. She liked carnival glass and that rainbow sheen on all her collectables. Was there a specific maker that did more of that style that used mostly coated rhinestones and beads in their brooches and clip ons. Most of it I think was very early stuff like from the 50s. (Edit: I was looking and probably Sherman or Weiss) Oh yeah… and she ALWAYS wore clip on. Never pierced her ears. Apparently that was extremely common from watching your videos. My aunt (her daughter) had like 9 piercings in one ear. It was the 80s… haha. She always hated that she put “holes in her head.” Too funny.

Wow, I heard some names today that I was not familiar with which is awesome for learning purposes. But talk about show stopping pieces, just absolutely gorgeous. I have never saw the smoky rhinestone that gave you that gold flash when you moved it in the light, totally eye catching. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I actually use my iPhone, it’s much better than my camera. I also have 4 light sources, so it’s a bit harder than it looks 😂
