Propylene Glycol is used as a non toxic anti freeze solution that won't harm pets if they drink from a coolant leak in a vehicle. It is also used by the food industry for many purposes including as an additive to keep ice cream from getting too hard.

I read the labels. If it says Propylene Glycol I do not buy it. There are several additives that are not food and I suspect it is a way to get rid of unwanted byproducts without paying for processes to make them safe. If there is something in the food your great grandma would not have used, leave it on the shelf.

Propylene Glycol is used in just about everything you eat or drink nowadays. It's used in soda, syrups you flavor you coffee with, spray whipped cream, jams and jellys, candy, medicines. If you ever had to flush your guts for medical procedure the fluid they make you drink is PG based. And if you vape your nicotine fluid is mostly propylene glycol.

Actually, its one of the TWO primary compounds commonly used in ecigarettes, the organic equivalent is vegetable glycerine. I personally prefer vegetable glycerine over propylene glycol since its smoother and while propylene glycol is inert, I don't care for the idea of using a polymer based compound in anything food or ecigarette based.

I did notice one issue that could be improved. The spinner had migrated to the end of the round bar and was rubbing against the wall of the trap. This let mice climb on to the spinner without it rotating freely. You could see them standing on the spinner eating the bait without getting caught. If you could adapt it so that the spinner stayed in the middle of the round bar I think it would be even more effective. Keep up the great videos.

propylene glycol is one of the two compounds used in e-cigarettes to generate vapor, its also used in some smoke machines, with that in mind, its pretty inert and as far as I know; harmless. The main difference between propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine (which is what I would use since its organic), is that propylene glycol is an inorganic plastic/oil based polymer and as such, has absolutely NO nutritional value.

Maine accents sometimes will pronounce words ending in er as ah. So we say super as supah. So I would assume it's ment to say the maine mouser just written like a maine accent.

What state is this? Some of the mice you catch look like cactus mice (deermice with naked tails and feet).

I feel like it’s like yelling “Ahhhh!” Like they were gonna say ‘the Maine mousetrap’ but the mouse fell in and got caught so fast but they couldn’t finish. Like they’re trying to be funny or something. Lol

Must've had uploading problems! Nearly 6 hrs late! That's OK, we'll still watch! "The Maine Mouser" w/ the Maine accent, would rhyme w/ caw (like the caw of a crow), but written -ah, where car is pronounced "cah". Therefore, Maine Mouse-ah ("aw"). Canadian "eh" sounds more like the letter "A".

Try using the glycol anyways. It is super slippery and will probably prevent the mice jumping back up onto the bar and escaping the trap.
