Exactly, 20 UFC fights, been fighting since he was 17 I think, 4 fights in a year if you include this one, never has a chance to get rusty or out of shape really, spars hard but takes a lot less damage than most, he'll probably set the UFC most wins record by the time he retires..meanwhile people see him as an undeserved champ and underdog.. It's very annoying

Strickland vs Du Plessis gonna be a good one looking forward to it

Brady touched on it: Strickland's teep-kick is what messed Izzy up. Izzy couldn't rest at distance because he was getting a toe jabbed into his gut the whole fight. There was even an exchange where Izzy was about to throw a punch-combo, but got interrupted by a teep-kick, and then faked the combo from distance anyway.

​@@TubeSavage The 1-2 was certainly effective, but Izzy never looked disoriented by it, like he did with the teep-kicks. Watch the 4th and 5th rounds again. Strickland was counter-striking Izzy's punches with teep-kicks. Wildest thing I've ever seen.

Strickand is the James Toney of MMA. All they do is spar, they've got incredible defense, not a lot of running or strength and conditioning, they talk loads of crap to everyone, they're guys who just love to fight.

These two guys have been my favorite two middle weight fighters for while now, its going to be a bloody good fight. They are both so unpredictable, that its very difficult to pick a winner here.

Brady’s right here, stricklands philly shell is the weirdest shit I’ve ever seen. And that’s coming from mostly seeing people use it in boxing, but it just works perfectly for MMA, and like Brady said about DDP it’s not “wrong” it’s just his stance and it’s just really different and it makes it hard to read.

Alex’s knockout over Sean (which wasn’t even held against Sean and ended up being one of the best things that happened to him) and then a decision loss to cannonier. His last loss of significance before those two was to a guy none of us have heard of and that was back in 2018 when Sean wasn’t even a middleweight. Your argument is absolute bullshit and I can tell you didn’t look up his record before typing this stupid shit. He doesn’t “lose to every top fighter he faced” you’re just a dumb ass who didn’t and can’t make an educated statement.
