Clearly yeah, the first one for me is a 540 flip revert, second a "varial flip body varial revert", and definitly 3rd one is better for an anti-treflip, like it's mirrored

I just wanna mention, after watching those old anti-tre flip clips in the start of the video, the quality of both your production and tricks have gone so high!! Don't get me wrong, I've been watching for probably 5+ years now and your tricks have always been incredible, but the crystal clean filming with proper lighting, good editing, more music options than the few that always played on the old videos, really take it to the next level. Always a joy to watch Giger, keep up the amazing work!!

I really like how you keep trying and repeating a trick over and over to get a result. It's kind of inspirational. Whilst I haven't been able to skateboard (couldn't get the hang of sidewards movement), you have inspired me to pick up aggressive inline skates to hit skate parks again after over 6 years of not being there. I had to stop skateboarding through injury a few years ago and thought I had seen all possible ways to flip a board . You are now breaking the laws of physics lol. The 3rd one is unreal

3 was pretty insane, just bought one of your decks "terrifying tails" finally gonna step on a board again for the first time in years.

Philosophically speaking - "anti" meaning "opposed to" the trick should be 0 no-flip but that's hardly an satisfying answer (just rolling in front of the camera?)...my first thought was - clearly the conclusion must be a laser flip - that goes "anti" in all directions but I think you came up with something better with the option #3. Also, the self-awareness towards the old videos is something so refreshing!

Oh and no.3 underflip Treflip should be anti tre for sure.. looks so cool

OMG yes, one of the first tweaked tricks I did was the varial kickflip body varial, i called it a "small spin flip" but I had them down mint, I then was learning the impossible, and sort of tweaked it over to some sort of FS shove it underflip. in which you do the full 180 board rotation and THEN at the last minute underflick it with your toe. It felt so awesome the first time I nailed it.

All three options are amazing, however my vote would go for option 3 as the anti tre flip, even though I would probably call it a Tre Underflip ;-) Like always your skills and videos are incredibles!! Keep it up!!

I always wondered what a "360 hardflip" would look like lol. #3 is my vote!!

360 hardflip is a 360 front shuv and a kickflip. Laserflip is a 360 front shuv and a heelflip

Hey Jonny, I’ve got a quick question about your production process. Do you do all of your gradual zooms and tracking shots while editing in post, or is this a setting you use on the camera while filming? Thank you for your time, and keep up the amazing work! 👍🏼

Not sure if he'll reply but take it from me, it's done in post. The only way to recreate on camera would to be with a gimbal with tracking but that would be pretty overkill and it's obvious there's no panning on the clips due to the fixed perspective. Most likely keyframe initial position/scale start of clip, keyframe final position/scale end of clip, plus a bit of easing on each end (mostly on the positions, not scales).

dude! Option 2 - I done that trick when I was 15, nearly 20 yrs ago now, so you can cross that one off the list! Also, Option 3 - Its a backfoot Lazer Flip. Pretty sure Rodney Mullen done it in the early 2000s, around the time of Almost Round 3

You catch them both feet proper, i like that thats how it was when i was coming up, then it was like oh u gotta catch em with ur front foot, and that led to a era and years of sketchy not very solid clean popped tre's i like tres that flip and finish even still in the air like when a kickflip finishes, and its caught and brought down even. It might be the hardest way but its the nicest, when i kickflip tho, i always caught them backfoot, it was a trick i sort of did naturally early on and from watching penny videos. Penny was the best at catching tricks i think ever. Yo word, the way u grab the tre and slam it down even reminds me of a kickflip you do them legit. that on at 10 seconds in and the one after are perfection.

The music under option 1 is basically the Hungarian folksong, titled 'A csitári hegyek alatt'. :) Cool tricks as always. I prefer option 3. ;)

Ive been going for varial flip late front 180. Mostly have to slide the 180. But i think it will look cool. No idea what it would be called or is called.

Tre flip and full (back flip 360) are such good feelings

I'm not judgemental. All 3 tricks look great. I would agree the first 2 are a bit of a stretch to be called anti 3-flip. But they're fun to watch. The third could 100% be called the anti-tre. Although lazer-under also works. Loads of tricks can really have two names. What about a traditional tre- but kick it back mid rotation? You've got the pop, and the footwork. I'm sure easier said than done, but something along those lines. 🤔😉❤

I landed a variel flip body variel the other way like you did in this video but I don’t know what it’s called. Should I make up a name. I think I have heard it referred to as the twisted flip before

Ive been thinking about option 1 for some time.I think I can do it :) but more sick would be to slide it the other way,like 360flip bodyvar back rev :) I can do it with shuv it no problem :)

I've recently started trying what I call anti bigflips. (Tre flip with a fs body varial) The only way I've landed it was on a bank though. I'm still trying to get them on flat. Love the vids Johnny. BTW definitely the underflip one seems like the true anti tre flip...

Hey Johnny, I really like your videos with all the nerdflips you do. I don't even skate but it's just nice to just space out on them sometimes. I did skate when I was a kid, but I sucked. I was really good with the techdecks though lol and I've still never seen anyone do this one trick I made up, on a real skateboard: you do a varial heel, then catch the underneath of the varial heel with your back foot and under-hardflip it the rest of the way around. If you could do this trick it would make my day, cause there's no way in hell I'll ever be able to lol

Trick 3 is sick. But when I think anti flips, you reverse the original flip. So a anti tre would be like a tre flip, then a backfoot late heel flip. So in essence you'd end up with a tre flip late heel to reverse the flip the tre does. A very technical 360 shuv lol
