OMG, Murugi is just something else she is so articulate and so bright. I usually watch her podcasts and I have learnt so much from her. Mike is also really vocal and well-expressed. This government needs to know that sisi kama Gen Z we don't want propaganda and lies. The sanitary pads are no longer in the bill. I also don’t like the way Murugi talked down on local manufactures. And mind you The brand ALWAYS ,PAMPERS, SOFT CARE, are manufactured in Kenya. These are the brands most Kenyans use . But i agree with her on thing , these are basic needs, and choice is a must.

Always, Pampers, and softcare are not Kenyan brands. Let's be serious. Sanitary pads are in the bill. All the pads Kenyans use are imported. They are subject to the punitive tax. Please, please, let's read and research so that we don't give greedy politicians a pass

Do your research my guy about what is manufactured in kenya, pads,diapers, even toothpicks etc are imported. Kenyas manufacturing industry has been close to the grave for decades.

@@maryarya5678 Aki i even sat down and did my research properly. Softcare diapers are made in kenya by Sunda international ( a chinese company). Always , pampers, ariel, are made by P&G , which DOES have a manufacturing plant in Kenya BUT for another product. You are right, pampers and Always are imported but softcare is made locally.
