UPDATE: Left and Right stick click CAN be remapped to the rear buttons (LSB & RSB )! This was older information from the recording, my mistake Also, a small note about the audio setting I skipped over; Turtle beach audio is Aidsy so I never really fucks with it when using their controllers. In my opinion, "Signature Sound" or "SIG" is the best option, mainly because the other ones are awful lol.

Surprised you liked this one. I had nothing but issues. Glitchy software. Left thumbstick grinding on the friction ring. Random disconnects. Granted I got this at launch but it just had too many flaws

Ive been gucci with my elite 2 for a good hot minute...but still digest all of these videos to at least EDUCATE myself on other options if I was to ever jump ship...still refreshing content regardless as well too

This controller was fun but broke down in less than 6 months my LB broke in 2 weeks

I’m still waiting for the Xbox series 3 to drop to see which of the 2 I’m gonna wanna get. I would have bought the TB stealth already but the 2 dealbreakers are the flat back buttons and no integration with the TB stealth pro headphones (I.e. controls for volume/mute & noise canceling on/off (trust me, as a dad of 2 small kids, that shit can come in really handy). If for some reason the series 3 sucks when it drops, I’ll probably get this one.

The thumb stick wearing out should be called "stick cheese", similar to "that thing your mom likes cheese", 100% will make manufacturers improve it.

One of the only things I really love about the Elite 2 controller is the weight. Most controller's feel like kids toys.

Bought it and I am a PC guy. I have been very satisfied with the build quality and I am very happy about the tactile buttons. Makes everything so much snappier. Best controller, I have ever had. Made me even play more games, where a controller is more useful as an input device. I just have one issue: I set the screen timeout to 1 min, but it doesn work. It just stays on for way longer. I assume it's the standard time of 5 mins. If I however press the plus to get into the menu and then press it again to leave it, the screen times out after 1 min. Is this a general known issue or is my device not working properly?

I wonder how long these will last long term lol

I got this one a few weeks ago mainly to play FPS games. I was so hyped when it came but ended up dissapointed by the sticks, I tried all of the presets and still had a hard time aiming. After a week of getting used to it, I sent it back, picked up the Scuf instinct pro and man I was never happier with a controler.

Wow really? I love the sticks when it comes to aiming. Like my stealth ultra a lot more than my elite 2’s or scuff, the ultra has become my absolute favorite controller I have owned. You should have given it a little more time my aiming has never been better

It’s nice to see how the landscape of the controller world has changed over the last few years. So many companies deeply involved that I thought never would be. Or at least, I never expected them to be able to compete as well as they did lol. The competition is great though, it means controllers are starting to and will continue to become a lot more experimental and competitive

​@@nvmb6451Literally nothing wrong with TB headsets. They may not be the best but they're still better than Nacon's RIG headsets, most HyperX's and most Razers imo. I would take take Steelseries or Astro over anything but TB is a nice middle ground

Where is t4 Cyclone pro review

Really really want to, I need a new Xbox controller since my razer wolverine v2 chroma died (after around 5000 hours, for me that is little over a year) and right now I am playing on my cheap back up controller bc I can't decide what to buy. But my brain can't connect words Turtle Beach, good product and trust together. It seems there is a lot of stuff on there that is screaming It is going to break within 2-3 months. Same reason I never bought an elite.

Love watching Vcuda video on Friday afternoon.

Thanks!! Been waiting for a review from you for this controller as my elite series is having some sticky triggers now. Wanted this for a while and now I'll get it. Much appreciate the detail and how informed you are!

My only gripe is the battery life though.

One thing I don't see reviewers highlights much is the sound profiles on the controller. That was the tie breaker for me between this and the Vader 3 pro. I spent countless hours messing with equalizers to optimize my sound for Warzone, even bought some IEMs. The surround sound profile on this controller blows everything I've tested out of the water.

I have an ENDLESS list of notes on that mf. I’m working out that script, as well as the script for GameSirs 7 millionth set of controllers today lol That one is almost certainly gonna cross 20-25 minutes 💀but it’s needed. It’s the most interesting controller I’ve seen this year!

Although I have noticed I haven’t been repeating that as much as I need to in recent videos, I admit But that’s an interesting one! I have some notes written down on this, since the response time felt a little off, especially wireless. It was very noticeable. Thanks for bringing this up, I’m gonna go take a look at Gamepadla right now and see what they got going on lol

Fr had this thing for a year on oem sticks and never had stick drift. Even if I would've gotten stick drift, there's a recalibration system built in nobody knows about. Also just a heads up upgrade to the hall effect pcb on Amazon works fantastic. On game pad tester it says you don't get full range, but in games I actually do get full range of motion.

Can anyone help me???? I hate my elite 2 that I’ve been using for a year. No matter what I do with app settings or stick tensions it just never feels right. I used a stock Xbox x controller to play Bf1 last night and found the stick movement much better. I’ve gotten a bit lost looking at what to get after watching billions of reviews. So many pros and cons to everything. I think I have dwindled the list down to the Gambit, the Gamesir G7 or maybe this Turtle Beach. The features I wanted probably don’t exist all on one controller. *smooth very accurate sticks *two buttons on back or paddles *hair stop triggers *hand grips *tactile buttons *low response time *wired would be fine *compatible with KontrolFreeks

I've had mine since Turtle Beach launched them and it's the best controller I've had. I do miss the premium feel of the Elite 2 but this is just better in every other way. The 2 issues I have is the left stick wearing down a bit and the RGB seems to be stuck on the rainbow motion effect but I can live with those issues. I only really play Warzone and it's been great for that. Yeah it's expensive, but it's worth it imo

This controller looks cool but too much for what a controller should cost. Wish someone would make elite series 2 Tall and wide sticks. I love the sticks that sort of remind me of Xbox 360 they give you that extra surface area for stability but I like the precision of the tall stick. For PUBG and sniping on halo might just 3D print something. lol

Very cool, but that paddle layout can burn in fire. If i have to move a finger to hit 2 on one side. Its a complete write off for me.

This is basically my reasoning for just getting another Wolverine v2 as opposed to this. I’m so used to Razer’s paddle layout that another layout would likely throw me off for a while as I adjust and I really don’t want that adjustment period.

I love high tension joy sticks!!!! This is why I prefer PS4 and PS5 controllers. I also liked the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller because you could increase the tension...Series 2 controller deadzones suck !!!!!

Had it for a month.. returned it because my right Trigger was either sticking when not compressed or not working at all.. went and got my son a Scuff Envision Pro for his pc and I went back to my elite series 2.. the controller did feel great & the only issue I had before the trigger breaking was the tension on the sticks. Just felt like I was moving slower even when I put my sensitivity on max. Lol I might give it another shot or wait and see if they make a newer model down the road.

would you suggest this or the king kong 3 max for pc gaming? ( mainly elden ring atm)

Had the controller but couldn't get over that rear button placement. Solid controller. I'm diggin the Victrix BFG Pro Xbox at the moment. Now Victrix just needs to come out with the hall effect modules they spoke about.

Paddles help keep your thumbs planted on the sticks, short/clicky triggers allow for faster firing and a faster reset compared to analog, and when it comes to thumbsticks it depends. Most companies today tinker with their sticks to some degree. Some get it right, some don't. The Envision Pro feels very similar to the Dualsense; each have insane thumbstick accuracy compared side by side to almost any Xbox/Switch controller. I gotta check back in on everyone, but the last time I did, the pro players I looked into were mostly rocking with the Dualsense. It's a safe bet, and if you want something a bit more capable, Aim, HYPR, & Battle Beaver make some nice custom controllers.

To think this is my first ever pro controller LMAO. I loved the idea of a wireless HE controller with mechanical buttons. Literally my only complaint is the battery cannot be swapped, otherwise I'd may as well stick with it for life. But the one I got had it's grip peeling off after almost three months just a few days ago (Released in January in Australia, not that big a deal anyway), but getting a replacement in a few days as of writing this. I basically cannot go without it no more. :D

So i got mine the day it got released. I love it. My only issues Ive run into. At times it decides to disconnect from the base and i have to put it back on to reset it(even if i have it hard wired this has happened too) I also had to replace my first one after only a month of having it ( with the warranty and had no issues with customer support 🤌🏼) because my right trigger became loose and would move side to side and randomly choose when it wanted to actually activate. Besides some connection issues and the trigger problem i love it!

I had the gouges in the thumbstick after only about 5 or so hours of gameplay and I returned the controller because of it. As much as I liked the controller, having it degrade that quickly, especially considering its $200 price tag, it was a deal breaker for me. Hopefully TB learns from this, and uses metal thumbsticks in their next iteration. The Elite Series 3 will probably be out by that time though, and I'm pretty sure Microsoft will be using Hall Effect sensors in the Series 3, but we'll just have to wait and see.

I went back to the gambit after getting this. Then I got the bfg for Xbox and decided that it was perfect but didn’t want to wear it out so I started using the stealth ultra and committed to the muscle memory of the “god forsaken layout” 😂 very well said. Battery life is kinda ass even with the RGB and screen time out on the lowest setting but those hall sticks and mechanical buttons are definitely a step in the right direction for Xbox

i would mostly just like a controller with ps4/ps5 stick placement for a xbox controller bc ive been recently switching back and fourth between ps and xbox and find ps controllers more comfortable

Thinking about buying one of these but can't justify that $200 price tag. Maybe at $150.

Not ready to get rid of my GOAT 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth controller as its still flawless (thanks for showing me its greatness VCuda), but when i do, this may be a solid upgrade. Could use abit more sh*tposting mixed into your reviews though. that said, your more proffesional reviews like this im sure are massively appriciated.

is it just me or did I get a faulty elite series 2 core edition cause my sticks have a constant dead zone regardless of what I do they have stick drift but you don't feel it ever and the y button is broken cant even use it out the box same goes for the A button too it double clicks when I click it once most the time and it doesn't make sense to me that my trickers also have some kind of dead zone like 5% of the inner and outer dead zone of the triggers don't do anything

Do you have a controller recomendation for people with larger hands?
