ik this song is about the angel of death vs satan, but what i get is that the Four horsemen of the apocalypse are rising and they are going to judge (in the bible in revelations God tells John that there will be four horsemen to come again and start the apocalypse on earth after the judgement) this song reminds me of the people who were judged, but they stay in the apocalypse for the horsemen to destroy, that's what this reminds me of, anybody else?

Sounds like a song that you would play to a really dramatic/epic fights scene or something.

What most people don't get about 'The Vengeful One', it was more along the lines of a song about how you don't need to look holy to do righteous acts, or save humanity from the evils of this world. If you watch the official video, really, that's exactly what happened. This 'Dark Messiah' isn't a demon. It's a savior to answer the painful cries of those suffering. Hence the term "I'm the Hand of God". Pretty similar to the Judas Priest's Painkiller, or the "Angel of Metal". Bands are cool, aren't they?

For those wondering the Creature in the vid is the Beast/Warrior that Pursues the Prince in Prince of Persia, Warrior Within game.

I like the "so sleep soundly in your beds tonight" part, it is very ominous.... I 🖤 it.

i'd actually prefer to have the tale of Damocles being a physical embodiment of war rather than either of those two. and he wants to strike down any who have amassed too much power and uses it to corrupt. potentially a more badass Ultron than the MCU version which also has amassed the qualities of other Rogue A.I. from other movies, TV shows, Video games, etc.

Nah it is just Dahaka, the guardian of time. It can travel to different eras and the Dahakas main mission is to preserve the original timeline by killing people who isn´t supposed to be alive. well I got to give it to you, a prototype ish Satan is an interesting idea, would not the body be you know. biomass bloody red instead of black, would you agree?

@@DanielPembrink Eh, Carnage just seemed to be the visual I got. Red and black tendrils swinging wildly in the air. As for ProtoDevil, himself, I guess it's dependant on the devil you use as the base. Tim Curry in Legend? Beast. Harvey Keitel in Little Nicky? Even better. Otherwise, it could easily be hit or miss.

MavenDeo hmm, i might go for a more modern approach. alice in wonderland madness returns style. it is not a devil exactly and isa bit cliche I believe but it seems to nail the main feel with tendeils and all. With that aside Ihave never associated tendrils and the devil with carnage to be honest, would love to learn how you "connected" the dots there. Gonna look up the devil base that you mentioned none of those names rings a bell for me.

I grw up as a teen in the 80's and a Metal head and never understood Nightcore until i heard the term (many years later) Anti nightcore and it brought things that shouldn't have been into the chunky zone. As a guitar player ad some chorus n reverb and ... effoects until the cows come home...

The Dahaka is a good choice for a symbol of this hellish sound.

I usually hate anti-nightcore and nightcore almost equally, but this, I like. Still prefer the original, but u do like this, and that's saying a lot. Dunno what you did differently, but I'd love to find more music with this sort of feel. Slow but intense with a little of that eccentric, funky flair.
