That's why we need more Supreme Court judges said by this sitting judge was in it's self a political statement which is a shame!

Paliament makes laws and judicial interpret the laws of paliament. Judiciary don't make laws. We need to get the preamble right.

WE USED TO HOLD OURSELVES AS THE MOST BRIGHT INDIVIDUALS AND COUNTRY, TODAY I REALIZE, NOT ONLY ARE WE BRAINLESS BUT FEEBLE AND TIMID.
The Court cannot stop parliament from performing its duty, so why all these
The delay of Truth is the denial of justice, why are you delaying this bill? Give it to the president to sign Period!!!! If only he will also not take the remaining months of the year to pick his pen from the Table to sign a day to election 😂

Ghana is a total joke. This woman sitting there has made the Birth Certificate of Ghanaians useless. Where in the world does this happen? It’s only in Ghana that a birth certificate cannot be a primary proof of citizenship. The whole country is crazy. I mean mad

they will never make Nana Addo sign this bill. After 2024, they will come with their judgment. They collect yams and apcnkye and send innocent people to jail.

@@godwinmawuliatatsi7920 I just can’t understand oooo. Birth Cert everywhere in the world is the only document that distinguishes a naturally born citizen from those who gained same through naturalization. Naturalized citizens can never obtain a birth certificate but both can have the country’s passport or other identifications. Foolish people practicing British law but don’t want to apply common sense like the British do. Mmoaaaa
🤔 hmmmm so this country's judiciary has been reduced to a comic arena,oh 😢 this is a sad reality.
GIVE IT TO THE PRESIDENT THAT'S IT!

We have serious problems in this country and you guys are here talking nonsense
It should be a cost on the state, it's our money and we say use part to protect our future generations and you say wha? This same same AG has made it possible for state to pay unwarranted judgement debts
Is this AG for Ghanaians or for their foreign puppets
Why should we not embrace foreign country passport than the so call Ghana PHD, unless people your days are numbered.
Con merchants 😢😢😢😢😢😢
Do any of you here think in 20yrs to come, the state could incurred 50% of the resources wasted on the cathedral as public financial burden from the Ghanaian family bill?
Hmmmmmm.

Animals in court
Complete waste of time
See them wicked peoples
The constitution says any bill from a private member must have a cost analysis attached to the bill before the speaker considers it at all. Not just that, it must come from the executive. That is the condition precedent in this case.

Assuming the cost analysis places a lite burden on the state, wasn't that the reason why attorney general came in initially to delay the process and allow for further transformation of the bill? And what is more important than maintaining our identity and socio-cultural practices, than the state spending our taxes for something we overwhelmingly agreed to?
Am not a lawyer but I believe this action taken by this individuals to injunct parliament will open the institution of parliament up for any person to attempt to stop the transition of other bills from being transmitted to the president in the future.
