She has the right to be authoritarian. This is the Supreme Court of which she is the head. She can send any of the lawyers out if she thinks they are not respecting her enough or can even hold them for contempt if the keep defying her words. That is how a court works.

They should keep playing with fire

It doesn't work like that in the court. If you do that as a lawyer, you can be charged with contempt of court or banned from practising law in Ghana

This chief justice is just pleasing the sitting president

Go and read the constitution well. There are legal reasons which have slowed down the passage of this law. I used to think it was a tactic being by used by the government until I asked a lawyer and she explained it to me. The short of the matter is that, there were other cases pending prior to anti LGBT case and constitutionally, until those ones have been taken care of, this one cannot be given the full attention it needs by the president. Moreover, it would have to take a constitutional process to review this law.
