The Anti-Backing Crush Bar was designed when the promoters noticed a problem in the handling of animals in a cattle crush. We noticed that animals reversing is a major problem in cattle handling in any cattle crush and that there is no device to restrict them or prevent them from reversing that can be quickly moved between the sections of the crush.
The Anti-Backing Crush Bar prevents the animal reversing in a crush. The unique, innovative design allows for the animals to pass by the mechanism as they go up the crush without having to remove the mechanism from the crush. You then push it up behind them and it automatically locks in position once the animal reverses against it.
Using this mechanism, handling animals in a crush is comfortably a one person operation and gives the farmer complete control over their animals in the crush.
