ANTHURIUM SEEDLINGS & how to grow them

A more detailed video about my Anthurium seedlings and how I grow them. There is a lot of different information out there on light, heating mats, fertilizers and such. There isn't one way works for all. So what I am talking about worked for me and my growing conditions (forgot to mention the humidity is staying at around 90%).
Are you growing any in the moment or plan to? :D It's an amazing and so rewarding process to grow them from seed to actual plants.
You can find more info about seedlings and see their progress on my Instagram / adansoniia

    I recently bought some magnificum seedlings and it was so hard trying to find sources/help/tips on how to take care of seedlings specifically. So I'm glad I found this, thanks!

    Yeah they really are fast growers! I haven't found them to be particularly iffy or anything out of ordinary. You just have to be sure the media they are potted in provides enough oxygen :D

    About how long does it take for the tiny plants to grow into a more mature specimen?

  • @adansoniia

    @adansoniia

    Obviously growth condition matter a lot, but I've come to realiese genetics play a huge role. I've had some really fast growing plants outgrow older "seedlings" in a year.

    Is it possible to get a new plant by planting dried anthurium seeds? Can you tell me how to plant?

    Usually if anthurium seeds shouldn't dry out otherwise they won't be viable anymore. So no I don't think you can :(

    Hi I water them when the pot gets dry and light, I try not to let them dry fully (their roots don't appreciate it much). I don't really water them, rather than sprayin them with water bottle (they get small amount of water more frequently).

    There is no straight answer to this. Know people that are pollinating anthuriums. Keep an eye on fb sales groups (lots of seeds there recently tbh).
