I am SO impressed w/your talent for making dupes but your overall decorating taste! The lamp you made was actually way better than the designer one and looked so classy the way you displayed it!! You really have an eye and such talent. I've watched so many people make dupes but you're the only one that can actually pull it off and pull it off amazingly I must add. The traditional frame paired with the modern lamp and candle holder truly made the traditional frame fit in and maintain the modernity. That was my favorite today. Our thrift stores never offer the low prices you find. Coffee mugs here are priced at 2.99 at Goodwill.

That watercolour in that frame is STUNNING.

This is flat-out the best dupes video I've ever seen, though I feel like you 'cheated' having such a gorgeous selection at your thrift stores 😆 I honestly couldn't tell when you were filming if you were at the thrift or Anthro, until I saw the price stickers. It'd probably take me a year to make a vid like this cause I'd be waiting 3 months just to find a decent lamp🤣 I actually need a shade for my bedroom lamp and it's been nearly a year and STILL the right size has not materialised...

The trellis with bells!! I absolutely loved that!! Also the butterfly hook! Great finds!!

always love your videos and the leg work you do to show us what is in vogue right now. I love your lamp with the washi tape. It looks fabulous, and the lighting idea without hardwiring, excellent!

They have removable vinal wallpaper now. You could even do just a temporary arch for a pop of color or get the little ones such as x's or +'s that you can add in a pattern to your walls. I like the large jewel toned floral prints.

Love them all but the candle one is my favorite

The grid lamp is a throw back to the Bob Newhart show. His lamps and matching bedding in his apartment with Emily were white with a thin black line grid pattern.

Use your blow-dryer on the plastic-film covered shelf. That will make it shrink-wrap around the wood piece. And manchets for the candles.

I use my shower squeegee for contact paper projects. Comes out perfectly smooth.

Little tip for adding contact paper: Spray some water mixed with a few drops dish soap at the surface first, then add the contact paper, after that take a towel and press out the water from the middle to the sides. So you have a bubble free surface... I`m totally in love with the candle holder you found! Greets from Austria!

You have awesome thrift stores! Ours are like flea markets with mainly old, and broken items. An occasional find, but rarely is anything close to a dupe. It's hard to thrift when it's mainly junk.

Everything looked wonderful however, I think my favourite things were the coloured glass from your mother in law. Even the pink which I wasn’t sure about once filled with greenery looked beautiful! Thanks for your helpful and inspiring tips for creating pieces of interest and beauty for our homes. Haven’t had much ability to thrift because of a back injury, standing and digging through things is quite difficult but, I’m still motivated to update and be creative with the things i already have. I just wish faux florals were as affordable where I live, they are super expensive:here for things like faux olive branches, eucalyptus etc so buying several becomes too much for me and I really love mixing faux and real plants, it just works so well.

Very cool dupes. The lamp is my fav and I hope you bought both since there was a matching pair. And the pale pink vase from your MIL might be Fenton which is highly collectible. But regardless, it's sweet and definitely fits rhe Anthro vibe.
