Wild how many band wagon fans there are in the UFC. Smith fights the best of the best, fights up and comers, steps in on short notice, and always has entertaining fights. The man literally kept fighting even when his teeth were knocked out because he is gritty and doesn't quit. Went a full 5th round after eating a grounded knee from Jon Jones rather than taking the easy win. I mean, in a weeks time he said "sure ill step in to help save a card" not once, but twice against two different opponents. We fans are lucky to have fighters like lionheart, but yet people still want to root for a clown like Connor that hasnt won a fight in 4 years and wastes fans money for a bruised toe...makes no sense

100%. The desire for fans to hate has gotten insane. Even for new fighters. The way people joke about Rosas Jr honestly kinda disgusts me. I don't like saying stuff like this, but given his age and everything, it's really hard to not think that part of it comes simply from the fact that he's so successful and living his dreams at such a young age, and 99% of them aren't and never will When he fought Jones, I was really hoping he'd be the one to get it done. Now I'm hoping Stipe will be, and unlike with Smith, I think Stipe has a very legitimate chance of doing so. I don't think you get the point here,he said "not THAT good "which doesn't mean he is not good as a fighter at least not if you explain what you mean by "That" .he explained he meant Jones is not that good in terms of that he is an unbeatable God who is the best in every dicipline and in all what he is doing. To say he is not the best in every dicipline and to say he is a good mma fighter isn't just stupid because the way he said it wasn't contradictive because it was first all about his individuell skillset and then he praised his overall mma skillset.
