Anthony Pettis (born January 27, 1987) is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, where he is the current UFC Lightweight Champion. He was the final WEC Lightweight Champion before merging the promotion into the UFC. As of January 17, 2014, he is #8 in official UFC pound-for-pound rankings.
