ABOUT ANTHONY
Anthony's musical touch as both composer and performer is connected with some of the most influential creative minds over the last 40 years. He’s composed and conducted original orchestral scores for over 80 feature films including Young Guns , Internal Affairs , The Man From Elysian Fields , 15 Minutes and Planes, Trains & Automobiles , been commissioned by the Los Angeles Philharmonic for his symphonic work "In the Family Way", written over one thousand TV commercials in a myriad of musical styles, co-founded Levels Audio Post (LA's premiere post production facility) and performed and arranged on big-box-office films and influential hit records such as Michael Jackson's Thriller .
His extensive work as a young arranger, orchestrator and performer for Quincy Jones , Jack Nitzsche , Lamont Dozier , Arthur Rubenstein and Giorgio Moroder was vital in launching his own career. His early years pioneering modular analog synthesizers along with his wide-ranging music scholarship positioned Anthony at the center of the music technology revolution. Retro synth mastery was kind of a given, but god those melodies blew my mind! You don't play notes or scales, you play moods and landscapes! Since I watched this Ive been searching for anything else with Anthony playing synths. Thanks Anthony for your contribution to production and film, it's been a blast (I'm 52 so been listening since "Blue Thunder"), but I can't help thinking that Anthony would have been massive in the Goa and Psy trance scene if he produced his own dance music. Dr mix is good but for me he is too Euro trance, although I respect him and watch all his vids. I just really REALLY want Anthony to blow my mind again. Man, he had that synth PUMPING! Anthony, please contact "YOUTH" Martin Glover (2012 "man with the golden ear" recipient, Bass guitarist for Killing Joke, founder Butterfly Records) at Dragonfly records I think you two could make something very unique. Please consider this, I'm sure you have heard of Youth. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊 I'll be meditating on this until I hear back from you LOL😂 "OHM"
