Haha, I had the same reactions as the commentators when Anthony chose Redtooth Vanguard over Hopeful Vigil and Cooped Up XD And definitely I'd pivot into RW with Ash and then take Decadent Dragon p2p1

In 8 man pods like this where you will play your opponents, there is value in locking down color combos early. Cutting off signals is important when you have rares/mythics you want to play around.
