This video is released by Anthony Kearns in honor of President John F. Kennedy's 95th birthday. Anthony Kearns performed at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library on March 27, 2012 in a Kennedy Forum Event to celebrate the late President's Irish heritage. The event was co-sponsored by the Library and UMass Boston and was facilitated by The Wexford Institute. Kearns, founding member of the PBS super group The Irish Tenors, presents a dynamic repertoire spanning Ireland to Broadway, Lanza to McCormack, Viennese romance and French art songs to popular Italian classics, the inspirational to the spiritual. Besides his work with The Irish Tenors, he also has a thriving solo career, performing concert tours, oratorio, opera, with some of the world's finest orchestras. We of Irish descent will always revere President Kennedy cut short in life and in ability as President. Others do also. I appreciate Anthony Kearn's remembrance.
I am of Scottish descent, but I know a great voice when I hear it. I have been an admirer of John McCormack's singing for many years, and now, I can say the same about Anthony Kearns!
ah, I was there and he sang proudly, sweetly, joyously and always the consumate artist. That evening will remain as one of the special events of my life.

Completely jelly. Would love to see him perform. It’s a bucket list!
Always superb - and the time of the Irish Tenors remains one of the high points of our culture. Great to be reminded of real talent and quality singing.
