Do you mean you think he will be the number 1 player winning multiple championships? I think his ceiling is like Dwyane Wade but with more longevity but playing in Minnesota it's unlikely to get great free agents or player in trade that will be good enough to win a championship with. I think the Wolves should highly consider pushing back their timeline and tank for a year or 2 to build a young core like in OKC. That Gobert trade trying to win now will set them back several years.

@@juju-vl7oj I think he’ll clearly be the best player in the league going into his 6th season. He won’t have won a title by then but most will regard him that way. He’ll definitely have to leave Minnesota to compete for chips but big trades happen in the NBA often.

he already is, the reason his stats have not been a little bit better is because he had to negotiate scoring with two other Max contract scorers and frankly ball hogs and the fact that he doesn't get any calls because he's in Minnesota, so the refs never send him to the free-throw line, he deserved to go to the free-throw line this past year 2 times the amount that he had

​@@aking25199my upset is I feel like his statistics could have been Steph Curry like last year had he not had to defer in the scoring department to towns, his first two years, had we not had towns, Edwards would have had the ball a lot more and would have worked out the wrinkles in his offensive game, what is remarkable to me is that he never complained about it at all and he still ended up making the All-Star game last year

With that you have scoring, rebounding, 3pt shooting, & passing... Edwards is a good Defender (3rd last year amongst Guards in Blocks & was 1st last year amongst Guards in Steals) then I'm adding JJJ at PF (DPOY) 3.0 BPG as the 4th to boost the defense?
