i looked up advanced stats on Rudy and for the better part of a decade his teams d rating were 19-30 when he is off the floor and 1-3 when he is on the floor no matter his team or rest of his cast. He is absurdly game changing defensively. Turns out Wolves front office did their homework and all the haters in media cant even spend 5 min to look up his stats before taking shots.

The Rudy Golbert trade was MOCKED by people nationally and then in year two, the TWolves are at worst, the third best team in the west and no worse than 6th best team in the league (if you think Boston, Philly and Milwaukee are better. I don't). Being a casual fan of MN basketball, this team's winning has brought me joy in that I see my friends and this community so happy. At some point, I'll be on the bandwagon, but for now, I'm happy for the true fans and wish the Wolves well!

I’m not sure if he is yet, BUT I’d argue these playoffs, same as Wades playoffs his first Miami title, are his first chance to actually put his name in the mix for that legit mantle! If Ant leads the wolves to the title, even with all this help, I think we’ll see the stsrt of the media rollout campaign for him as the best in the world. They know it’s coming, but they don’t want to roll it out before it’s legit. But I mean, depsite being so young( like dwade) he might actually be ready to make it happen , and drop 30-40 pieces along the way. I will say it’s going to take SO much poise from him and numerous consecutive games of SMART decisions mixed with taking over when need be. He’s done it all perfectly so far! But the Nuggets are really going to require him to be on almost a new level of mental acuity consistently.

I'm a Lions fan, and it's been fun to watch the two teams over the last 3 years because they're on the same trajectory. Not only good, but built to be good for more than one or two years. If my dreams came true, in 5 years we'll be talking about both franchises as generational talents and true dynasties. That would be something after the decades of abject failure... But for now, I'm just enjoying the moment.

Anthony Edwards reminds me of Ja Morant: their easy going persona masks their intelligent & intuitive feel for the game, rare for young players. When you look at ANT or even SGA, they always make the best plays for the team. They also have an ability to play ISO on the half-court set without hoarding the ball, without fucking up the tempo.

I'm happy for you to Rudy. It seems like he's really turned his career around it's still early in the playoffs. But the fact he's been one of the biggest reasons as to why the Timberwolves have been playing very well to start the playoffs. We know he's been labeled and ridiculed pretty much his entire career. You're seeing how important he actually is. As for Anthony the growth he's shown these past couple years has been amazing also has a lot of maturity and is not afraid of the moment has no fear.
