ANTERIOR COMPARTMENT OF THE FOREARM PART 1
Muscles of the anterior and posterior compartments of the forearm have been given concise and comprehensive descriptions. The classification, origin, insertion, relation, action, and nerve supply of all the 20 muscles in the forearm have been described in clear detail.
Muscles in the anterior compartment include Pronator Teres, Flexor carpi radialis, flexor digitorum superficialis, palmaris longus, flexor carpi ulnaris, flexor pollicis longus, flexor digitorum profundus, and pronator quadratus. Those in the posterior compartment include Anconeus, Brachioradialis, Ext. Carpi Radialis Longus, Ext. Carpi Radialis Brevis, Ext. Digitorum, Ext. Digiti Minimi, Ext .Carpi Ulnaris, Abductor Pollicis Longus, Ext. Pollicis longus, Ext. Pollicis brevis, Ext. Indicis. supinator
