I think the use of signal boosters should be made legal because it is the mistake of telecom services that they fail to enhance their coverage even after so many complaints.

If many people start using booster, interference will make existing signal even worse. Telcos paid crores to govt so they only can use that spectrum without anyone's interference

@@isotropicantenna interference would only happen if multiple mobile towers are there in small location. By using signal boosters you are not creating any interference, you'll just better coverage and signal.

@@atulhostdotcom signal booster communicates with phone on the same frequency channel the tower uses to communicate with other devices nearby. Cell phone tower would have allocated a time slot for cell tower > booster communication but not for booste > cell phone communication. So booster > cell phone communication will interfere with some one else's cell phone > tower communication. Similarly if your neighbours booster can interfere with you cell phones communication with tower.

That's why I was thinking why is this video taking so long to come. The main culprit was the 'confusion' :D. Thank you, brother. Need Omni Directional antenna.

I have also seen his video(janab). He has beautifully explained the whole thing. According to him only substandard quality equipment should not be used as they can interfere with the signals. But according to old laws they have banned all these equipments. I believe consumer should have the privilege to pay according to the service they are receiving. Everyone is paying the same recharge amount but some people are getting good speed however some barely able to use internet. Govt should think over this.

Agar mujhe paise zyada save karne ke liye income less show karna h to govt ko kya issue? Agar mujhe apne ghar me atta chakki laga ke atta sell karna h to govt ko kya issue? Bhai, issue ye hai ki all these activities create unfair advantage to user and unfair disadvantage to others. When using signal boosters, you try to divert more bandwidth towards your antenna, because of which nearby people will suffer even though they are paying same amount of money for the recharges as you are paying. Similarly, doing commercial activity is not permitted in residential properties because of low electricity charges in residential property vs higher electricity charges in a commercial property.

I saw your Video about Omni Antenna and now am checking this video about LPDA antenna. Antenna is NOT A BOSTER but is merely a signal catcher You said it rightly. In villages when you do not get a good mobile signal then you simply walk uphills to get better signal. That is exactly what these Antennas do. Nothing illegal about it. The only condition is that cable coming from External Antenna should go straight to router's antenna port. Signal booster is a different but specific device. Thanks.

Antenas can never be illegal. Only the system to decode or process the signal could be regulated. These are simple antenas that are attached to legal wifi routers. So all legal.

For those who are commenting boosters (which contain network amplifier nd chip) should be made legal, using of a booster creates a signal disturbance which result weaking the surrounding coverage of corresponding bandwidth of the signal in a result the neighbourhood coverage decreases and sometimes leading to network fluctuations on remote areas.

Exactly it happens.

You can use any antenna in the frequency of 865mhz to 867mhz and 2.3ghz, as these are license free frequencies in India. To use any other frequency you need proper licensing.

To keep it simple. Receiver antennas are generally legal. Transmitting using antenna over a certain power source is illegal because of 2 reasons : 1. Govt controls bandwidth and you cannot interfere with the signals in the bandwidth which someone has bought. 2. If your transmitter is powerful it will be acting as a jammer for other devices used by neighbours who are using the same bandwidth for receiving signals. As a general rule you can transmit signals without interfering the bandwidth used by other neighbours and keep the transmitting power low so that the range does not exceed your property.

Some areas won't give permission to install new towers. Those areas are effected with weak signals. Definitely signal boosters are required.
