It is far more than a weekender. We got our Antares 11 Coupe version this year and are super happy. Plenty of room, lots of storage. But mostly I like the versatility and clever features of the boat. It is super practical and totally easy to handle even alone, and I do not have the joystick option. So many useful things, the designer really thought about a super practical boat. European prices seem to be far lower than in the US. Our was listed at 312K Euros and we got a nice discount on top. So far away from 400K in the US. Definitely a 100% recommendation from my side as an owner of this boat.

The Greenline 40 HYBRID is perfect for the loop. It's quiet when you're just cruising 7 knots on electric mode. and you can run your appliances including your AC with just your lithium battery.

As I said, I have one coming this spring. 15 month order lead time! I’ve thought about it as a great loop boat too. But, I’ve never lived on a boat that long, so I don’t have an answer for your “how long can you live on it” question. I definitely see this is something I could be on for at least a month. But a year? Hmmmm. I’d definitely want to be very specific in how I kitted it out.

All new boats are out of control with prices. It’s gonna come back to bite the boating industry in the ass. Yes there are some legitimate price increases but generally the boat builders took advantage of the CoVid “premiums” and never rolled the prices back. For instance I bought a new 2018 Regal 28 express with all the upgrades for 135,000 now the same boat(and nothing has changed) for 270,000. 270 for a 28ft single motor boat. It’s freaking out of control! Imo
